Description

Located in the desirable Fox Farm neighborhood, Moose Creek Lodge is a charming, single-story, log-cabin style Big Bear Cabin. As you pull up to the driveway, you'll notice mature pine tree and beautiful landscaping. A statue of a bear holding a lantern is on hand to welcome you home.

The front door is located up a short set of stairs. A pair of inviting chairs on the front porch beckon you to relax and take in the quiet neighborhood.

Enter Moose Creek Lodge to find yourself in the open-plan living room with high, wood-beam ceilings. The majority of the home features carpet, with wood flooring in the kitchen and front entry.

The living room is on your left. On a chilly evening, use the wood-burning fireplace to fill your cabin with warmth and ambiance. Curl up on the couch and watch your favorite movie on the flat-screen television, which includes a Roku with Netflix and DVD Player. Moose Creek Lodge has a large selection of board games for every age, located in the cabinet under the television. A Nintendo Classic console will delight video game lovers. Get competitive with a game on the Foosball table located next to the dining area.

Creating a home-cooked meal is one of the joys of staying in a rental cabin. Imagine filling Moose Creek Lodge with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm pancakes in the morning. The kitchen is spacious and wll-equipped with all the essentials that you'll need to whip up a home-made meal. The kitchen features a large, tiled island with bar seating for four. Other features of the kitchen include: gas oven and oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric can-opener, coffee maker, electric kettle, wine chiller, toaster oven, crockpot, blender, rice cooker, hand mixer, and griddler/Panini press.

Sitting under a moose-themed chandelier, you'll find a six person dining table. Keeping with the name of the home, moose themed items are sprinkled throughout the cabin.

Open the sliding glass door next to the dining table to access the back deck. Use the propane bbq to grill up a juicy steak and use the outdoor table to dine alfresco. This is a great spot to take in the fresh mountain air and watch local wildlife, such as Blue Jays fly between the trees.

Walk down the hall to the right of the main entry door to find all of the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The master bedroom suite can be found at the back of the hall on the left. The master has a king bed, two large closets, and private access to the back deck. High ceilings lend to the spaciousness of the room and a ceiling fan will keep you cool in the summer months. The en suite bathroom includes double sinks, a separate shower, and a relaxing Jacuzzi tub.

The second bedroom is perfect for kids, but big enough to be a comfortable room for adults. It includes a twin over full bunk bed with a pull out twin trubdle, closet, rocking chair, and dresser. The cabinet in the closet is filled with jigsaw puzzles. This room also has a flat-screen television which includes a Roku with Netflix and DVD Player. The window overlooking the back deck allows for plenty of natural light.

The third bedroom is large with both a queen and a full bed. This room has a dresser, closet, and features views of the side yard.

A full-size bathroom is located in the hall, closest to the front entrance. This bathroom is to be shared between the guests in the second and third bedrooms, but is also close to the common areas. This bathroom also includes a side-by-side washer and dryer.

Additional sleeping space can be found on the living room sofa bed.

Moose Creek Lodge is a cozy cabin that is centrally located to Big Bear's shops, restaurants, and activities.

Please note that this home has a steep driveway and guests with low-profile cars should use caution. Parking is available inside the garage and outside along the paved side of the cabin.

How do damage deposits work?
