Description
Jacobswell House - a noble name for one of our largest and finest houses which is graded 4 Star by VisitEngland. Jacobswell is registered with the 'Museums and Antiquities Society' as the site of the main provider of water for the farm steading built around 1850.
Jacobswell House is a spacious barn conversion that accommodates 8 people with ease. The welcoming entrance hall leads to a large open plan kitchen/diner. The well equipped kitchen includes range cooker and dishwasher and has access to the rear of the property. Completing the ground floor is the separate lounge featuring an Inglenook fireplace with electric stove, beamed ceiling and fantastic views of the surrounding fields and lawned areas. There is also a ground floor toilet.
Upstairs features a large master en suite with spectacular views to the Cheviots and two additional bedrooms - each with 3 single beds. All the beds in Jacobswell House are zip and link, two single beds can be zip and linked together to make super king beds. Also on the first floor is a spacious family bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle.
