A detached cottage near the village of Gifford in East Lothian, Scotland, that can sleep four people in two bedrooms.The Grieves Cottage is a detached property set near the village of Gifford in East Lothian, Scotland. It offers two bedrooms; a king-size, and a twin, there is also a family bathroom and a cloakroom, the property can sleep four people. The inside also provides a kitchen with a dining area, a utility and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is off road parking and an enclosed front lawn. A well-presented cottage in a fine Scotland location.

Amenities: Oil central heating, woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books and gamesi. Fuel, power and starter pack inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Enclosed front lawn. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2.5 miles.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britains best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: This East Lothian village sits 20 miles from Edinburgh, a lovely holiday base. Gifford offers a small selection of shops, a pub/restaurant, a café and two golf courses. It boasts a parish church and a town hall. For a wider choice, Haddington is four miles away, sat on the River Tyne and has a golf course. The coast and beach at Luffness is ten miles away. Edinburgh is worth a visit as it hosts beautiful buildings, amenities and parks and gardens.
