Perched right outside the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, this vacation rental is the perfect starting point for all of your outdoor pursuits. Hike into the nearby parks, fish in the Colorado River and, in the wintertime, ride a snowmobile into town only 4 miles away! Boasting 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a back deck and all the comforts of home, this cabin hosts 8 for a peaceful escape in the Mountain State!

Nestled in a charming neighborhood, this cozy log cabin offers plenty of scenic surroundings, along with proximity to the charming town of Grand Lake. Take a stroll around the property to get the lay of the land and visit the nearby lakes, or strap on your snowshoes or hiking boots and choose a trail to trek in neighboring Rocky Mountain National Park.
Return home and refuel with a hearty homemade meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, beautifully updated with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and hints of mountain-inspired decor. Indulge in your culinary creation at the island bar set for 4 or at the adjacent farmhouse table.
Decompress from your daily exploits upstairs in the loft with comfortable furnishings situated around a flat-screen satellite TV. When you’re ready to call it a night, wash up in the Jack-and-Jill style bathroom connecting the loft and upstairs bedroom, which is distinguished by exposed log beams and 2 queen-sized beds.
Two lucky guests will be treated to the sweet life in the master bedroom, highlighted by a queen sleigh bed and full en-suite bathroom.

Alpine adventures abound at this Grand Lake cabin! Drive 4 miles into town or cruise over on a snowmobile to wander the shops and restaurants lining the strip. For a taste of the local fare, visit the lovely Grand Lake Lodge or the popular Sagebrush BBQ & Grill.
Get up and get active with a hike or snowshoe expedition in one of the nearby parks. Located right at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, the property offers easy access to some of the area’s greatest trails, lakes and forests. Hiking and snowshoe routes in Arapaho National Park can also be accessed straight from your front door.
Just a short walk from the backyard, the nearby campground offers many great amenities like a souvenir store, horseback riding, ATV and Snowmobile rentals, plus a small petting zoo by the Colorado River. Enjoy direct access to the Snowmobile and ATV trails that lead into Arapaho National Park as well as walking-only trails that lead into the Rocky Mountain National Park.
If fishing is your sport, make the quick trip down to the Colorado River. Cast a line and see what’s biting or, for some family-friendly fun, try tubing! In the colder season, skilled anglers won’t hesitate to go ice fishing in Grand Lake.
For a change of scenery, drive 20 miles south to Granby, 40 miles to Winter Park or plan a day trip up to Steamboat Springs about 2 hours from ‘Grand Holiday Lodge!’

We followed up with the homeowners, who were surprised by your feedback. They asked us to share the following: - We apologize for the cleanliness issues. Our cleaners work hard to make sure the cabin is clean and adhering to all COVID protocols, but we're sorry if they overlooked a couple of areas. We shared your comments with them so that future guests don't share your experience. - We apologize for the mice as well. We work with an exterminator in town that helps secure the cabin, but this time of year is always difficult. We will continue to do what we can to keep them out of the house. - We did visit the cabin after your stay and confirmed that it is stocked with trash bags and detergent. - Again, we're sorry for these issues and that we weren't able to resolve them immediately. We will speak with our property manager to make sure we do better for our next guests. We do hope you appreciated our own responses to your messages, both during and after your stay.
