Description

There’s no need to cram the whole group into a small hotel room - give yourself the space and privacy you deserve at our stunning mid-century vacation home.

In addition to the main vacation house, we have a charming “casita” which has an additional sleeping space and laundry room, it is a fully functioning studio apartment complete with bathroom shower and coffee maker! .

The backyard boasts a BBQ grill and patio furniture.

Bringing a car or an RV? You can park for free in the driveway.

*Please note: the Casita (extra sleeping space, 3rd bathroom, and laundry room) is included for any stays of 3+ nights with 6+ guests. If a smaller group would like to use the Casita, there is an additional $50 fee to account for cleaning this extra space.

The main house contains 3 bedrooms: one with a King-size bed, one with a Queen-size bed, and a cozy bedroom with a full bed. Each bedroom has ample storage space (so you can unpack and really feel at home!), sunny windows, and eclectic decor. Any day is a great one when you wake up here!

We have a new sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate larger groups-

**This House is perfect for a group of 6, cozy for 8 people and yes, you can sleep up to 10 adults, and it will be very cozy.

Also in the main house are two bathrooms (one full bath with a shower/tub combo and one powder room with a toilet and sink) with towels and toiletries included for your convenience.

In the casita, a ridiculously comfy couch unfolds into a Queen-size bed, perfect for two more guests. The casita also has its own toilet, sink, and shower.

In addition to the sleeping spaces, our home’s common spaces include a spacious living room, a modern kitchen, and a backyard perfect for letting the kids run loose or savoring sunset cocktails.

The kitchen comes equipped with all of the appliances and cookware you’d need to whip up a gourmet feast - a full-size fridge and freezer, an oven, a gas stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher - plus dishes, wine glasses, and utensils. When it’s time to eat, pull up a stool at the island or take a seat at our retro dining table.

Make your way over to the living room for some serious relaxation - put your feet up and watch a movie on our flat-screen TV, cozy up to the fireplace, or just admire the outdoor scenery through the huge living room windows. The entire house has super-fast WiFi for streaming your favorite shows or catching up on emails.

And when the weather’s nice, indulge in some R&R outside in our backyard. With lush greenery and colorful plants, it’s a little piece of paradise out here. We recommend picking up some local produce and grilling up a delicious dinner on the BBQ.

Since we’re all about convenience, we have a washer and dryer available for your use in the casita. Also, feel free to park in the driveway. The 35house is your Chambers Bay Golf Vacation Home and your PNW vacation home basecamp! We suggest having a car to explore the Tacoma area further. Our neighborhood itself is a lovely place to a walk, and we recommend taking a stroll to enjoy the beautiful views! Downtown Tacoma is only 15 minutes away by car, and there, you’ll find restaurants, museums, and attractions like the Tacoma Comedy Club and the Greater Tacoma Convention Center. We’re also just a 10-minute drive from Tacoma Community College, or you can hop on the bus and get there in about 20. Heading out for a night on the town or just want a break from driving? Rideshares (Uber and Lyft) are readily available and can take you anywhere you need to go.

How do damage deposits work?
