Villa Benedicte is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing holiday. This detached villa is set in it's own walled grounds. The main villa entrance is through double gates off a private road and allows room to park your car within the grounds. Whilst the villa interior is superb, my favourite place has to be the terrace where you will probably spend most of your time soaking up the view. The terrace is accessed via patio doors from either the lounge, the dining room or the kitchen. This raised terrace is partly shaded and has a built in barbecue and outdoor dining facilities as well as a comfortable sitting area for relaxing with a drink. This is the place to enjoy glorious sunrises with breakfast, views of the harbour and the sea throughout the day and then all the lights across the old town at night.
The lower terrace has an area for sunbathing, the private pool and another built in seating area. Around the back of the villa is an area of garden, another built in seat and the side gate which gives access directly to the steps which go down towards the coast and then the boardwalk for your eight to ten minute stroll to the harbour. In reality it will take longer than that as you won't be able to resist stopping and looking at the view! There is no need for a car staying at Benedicte as the supermarket, English butcher and a very good restaurant are only about 3 minutes walk away.
The villa interior is all on one level and is bright and modern whilst still maintaining a comfortable feel. A large bright hall way leads to the lounge which has a large wall mounted flat screen TV, free wi fi and comfortable sofas and chairs enhanced by subtle lighting. There is a separate dining room and a newly fitted beautiful kitchen. There are three bedrooms, a large double with dressing area and en suite shower room, two twin bedroom then share a full bathroom. There is also a cloakroom with toilet and basin. There is a free cot and high chair in the villa.
Our many regular clients are testimony to what a special villa this is. Spacious enough for a large group but also perfect for a couple. Relax and enjoy one of our most popular Lanzarote villas.
Additional amenities include: air con available, walk to beach, any number of bedrooms: 1, elderly accessible (some steps around the pool area), risco prieto, old town, puerto del carmen, free cot, free high chair, 2 bathrooms: 1, free internet wi fi, house (detached villa), 3 bedrooms: 1, walk to supermarket, number of bedrooms: 3 (1 double, 2 twin rooms), number of bathrooms: 2 (en-suite shower, bathroom & extra wc).TripAdvisor property ID 2220711...Read more

We, my husband and two children of 7 and 9 years, had a three weeks stay in Villa Benedicte this summer - and we will definitely come back!
The house is great, all furnitures are new and modern. The beds are good, we slept really well, all of us. The living room has good relaxing sofa and chairs, which the kids used more than us though.
The outdoor dining area has good coverage for the wind (there is always wind on Lanzarote), the outdoor lounge area has these wonderfully wooden chairs to sit and relax and look at on the sea. I found my favourite chair in the corner:)
The kids loved the swimming pool, and they spent several hours of the day there.
We were taken good care of by the property manager, she came around and fixed every wish we had.
The location of the villa is good, it takes 10 minutes to walk down to the harbour, another five to the small beach and yet another five minutes to get to the Playa Grande. We spent some evenings in the harbour, at different restaurants - and many evenings in the house, bringing back dinner from Marios ( an excellent restaurant two minutes away).
I do believe this is one of the best villas in that area, the outdoor area is the best, shelter for the wind ( and the sun if you like) and wiew to the sea and the harbour.
Thankyou for your comments. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. You get a fabulous sunrise from the sheltered terrace as well - the only trouble is you have to be up early to catch it!

“Lovely villa in a fantastic location”

We had a great stay at this villa, large and spacious. Very close to supermarkets, 2 pubs and the fantastic restaurant Marios. Although the villa and outside space is large and would comfortably accommodate 6 people, the pool is very small. There are a some little steps to get to the pool area so you would have to be cautious if you have young children. The villa was beautifully furnished and had everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack could be improved greatly! all in all an excellent holiday. lovely villa and very professional representatives
Thankyou for your feedback we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay.
As the supermarket is only a 2 minute walk away and is open till late we provide a complimentary food pack so that you can have a drink and a biscuit on arrival from the airport. Larger food packs can be arranged if requested.

We've got 3 times towels changes during 11 days stay, but no change of pooltowels, that was a pity. The villa was great, all equipment is available in the house and kitchen and sunbeds were good, also the sleeping beds for night. Wifi is available but is not strong enough for outside using devices. The poolman came by two times. The contactperson came by to say "hello" two times, but we did not meet her, while we were at home. When she came, perhaps we did not hear the frontdoor bell, she only left a paper with her telephone number. It was sad we did not meet her for questions: example: about the alarm system or other things, use of the television. We did not got the whole screen.
in the neigbourhoud is a supermarket and some bars and terraces and shops, only one minute to walk. That was great. It is only a 10 minutes walk to the town and restaurants of Puerto del Carmen, but don't forget the stairs you have to walk. 95 steps, to go down, not a big problem, but to go upstairs, cost a lot of energy!!
The view from the terrace over harbour and sea is great, every time of the day.Thera was a lot of sun in march 2014, but also windy and in the evening it was chilly, but we used the outdoor fireplace to stay warm and it was cosy.

A wonderful villa, perfectly positioned to take advantage of the coastal path and close to the Old Town for those evening excursions. The villa was private and luxurious, no expense spared on fitting out the kitchen which had every conceivable utensil for in house dining. The outdoor areas are superb with a nice little pool and lots of seating areas to follow the sun if you are so inclined.
Booking was easy through Sue and her team and we shall certainly return later this year. The weather was rather windy and cool at times but I suppose that is normal for January and the villa comforts eased that disappointment.
Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed your stay in Villa Benedicte and the facilities suited you well, we look forward to welcoming you back later this year! September has 2 weeks available but October only has 1 week still available, so don't delay in checking dates with us, as Benedicte is booking up quick.
This winter has been one of the sunniest and warmest for Lanzarote, Christmas was wonderful, but you were unlucky with your week in January where the temperature dipped a bit.

We spent three weeks in this villa and it is one of the best we have stayed in.
Close to the harbour and supermarket and has good local bars and restuarants.
The villa is excellent ,very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. The master bedroom has a great bed and the villa has lots of space so you would not be cramped if there was 6 people sharing. Outside the pool was like going
Into a hot bath and plenty of outdoor seating and lovely view of the harbour.
Erica looked after us very well and when we were there they installed more English tv channels which is great if you are a tv addict. Will be booking this villa on our next trip to Lanzarote.

We have been visiting Lanzarote since 1999 2-3 times per year, and
nothing will persuade us to go to any other area.
Villa Benedicte is located on a very quiet road, minutes from the coastal
path, and very private. It is furnished to a very high standard, including wi-fi which we find essential, and the iPhone docking station is a plus.
The kitchen is very well equipped, and the sea view from the
kitchen terrace when having breakfast is just wonderful.
Very short walk away from the local restaurants /supermarket, so all perfect.
Location is fantastic for the coastal walks.
This is the first time we have booked with Lanzarote Leisure Villas, and we are very impressed, excellent service from Sue and andrea.
Only negative is that the Welcome Pack could be improved, in our opinion.

My husband and I travelled to Lanzarote to race in the Ironman event there. We loved the look of the Benedicte online and exchanged emails with the property manager Sue leading up to our arrival. Sue was wonderful to work with and even arranged a private shuttle for us with our luggage and bikes. The Villa exceeded our expectations and was even more spectacular in person than on the website. Fully equipped and a wonderful place to stay, we'd return again in a heartbeat. Great property and wonderful to work with Sue to put this trip together!

Stayed here Easter 2012. Villa gorgeous. Extremely clean with lovely views of the marina. All correspondence with Sue from the Management company was met with a "nothing too much trouble" attitude, which ensured our holiday was perfect. Thanks Sue and your great team.
