Additional Location Information

The village has a pier extending into Lough Swilly and it is from here that you can catch the car ferry (June - September) to Buncrana and onwards to the rest of the Inishowen peninsula. There is a small marina attached to the pier and if you fancy a spot of sea fishing or sightseeing on the Lough there are two fully equipped and licensed boats available for hourly or daily hire. While in the village be sure to call and visit the Flight of the Earls Heritage Centre which tells the story of the last days of the great Irish Chieftains, O'Neill and O'Donnell. In addition there are sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding facilities in Rathmullan, as well as horse-riding and golfing very close by.

Located in a secure, quiet location this Ireland vacation rental is ideally suited to families or to people just wanting to 'get away from it all'. You can enjoy a stroll on the beach or in the woodlands of elm, hawthorn and ash that surround the village. We hope you enjoy your time in Donegal, Ireland and take time to savour its many delights. Your first visit will certainly not be your last.
