Description

As featured in Channel 4s Series 3 of "A New Life in the Sun" 2018, Le Poulallier is our family gite (holiday cottage) for four. Le Poulallier was a chicken house when La Petite Auberge was a farm, but you wouldn't know it now!

At the front of the gite there is a east facing, covered patio with seating for four. It is a great place to eat breakfast in the morning sun or somewhere to escape the sun later in the day and read a book. You enter via the kitchen, well equipped to produce a snack or a three course meal. As well as the cooker and fridge, you have a micro wave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. You also have a dishwasher and washing machine.

The kitchen leads into a lounge/diner with both a dining table and chairs for four and comfortable seating to relax. There is a TV with dvd for the guests to use should they wish. There are patio doors to the private, rear patio area with Webber gas BBQ - great for al fresco dining and to catch the evening sun.

The lounge leads into a small internal hall. The two bedrooms, shower room and separate toilet are off this hallway.

The first bedroom is a king with a door to the rear patio area. It has storage for clothes - a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom has twin beds with similar clothes storage to the double. This makes the gite suitable for either two couples or a family.

The shower room has not only a shower, but wash basin and bidet. The toilet is separate to the shower room.

Le Poulallier shares a 10 m by 5 m swimming pool. For safety, the pool is fenced off from the sun bathing patio. There is over 2 hectares of gardens and fields to explore and for those who like to play games we have a boules pitch, badminton net, giant chess set and football (soccer) net. We even have a small fishing lake.
