Additional Location Information

The Redesdale Estate vineyards and olive grove, situated on a spectacular, private estate overlooking the Campaspe River, immediately south of Lake Eppalock The cottage has its own carport and private veranda overlooking the gardens, which are part of Open Gardens Australia. They provide many outdoor areas for guests to wander, to dine and to enjoy.
Excellent dining is in Kyneton, with a number of diverse, good restaurants, cafes, galleries and produce merchants..
The spectacular Heathcote Shiraz and Cabernets from the Estate are consistently highly awarded- and are available for tasting. In the cool climate southern part of the Heathcote wine region, Redesdale Estate provides a perfect place from which to also visit other vineyards in the Heathcote and the Bendigo region.
The river valley view is secluded, although just over an hour from Melbourne, providing an amazingly quiet haven for a huge variety of birds and animals -and black skies at night, spectacularly splashed with stars.
