Description from owner

Description

Watch the badgers from the front window as they forage for peanuts each night, we can't promise that you will see them as they are wild animals but all our guests have so far, see reviews, also see youtube and search for badger rolling egg, to see a video filmed by one of our guests, of a badger rolling an egg into the bushes to eat.

A warm welcome and a cream tea await your arrival at Badgers Holt which is situated next to the farm house at Buller Farm near Truro in rural West Cornwall. It is a relaxing and peaceful place where you can sit back and listen to the birds singing. Many people have told us that we have a 'peace of Heaven' There is direct access from the farm gate to the bridleways and cycle tracks that traverse Cornwall.

There are 2 double bedrooms, 1 with a king size double and the other with zip-link beds giving a choice of two 3" singles or a super/king size, please let us know if you want these linked together. A cot is available on request.

The bathroom has a full sized bath as well as a separate shower cubicle.

A spacious living area has two soft leather 3 seater settees with a new age wood stove effect gas fire (difficult to tell apart from the real thing but without the mess).

The kitchen has all the mod cons that you would expect to find and there are glass doors leading out to a private terrace and garden for the sole use of Badgers Holt. There is one step up to the front door and steps from the terrace up to the back garden.

The farm is a working equine yard as well as having ducks, chickens and geese. The North Coast can be seen from the farm which has far reaching views of the country side. Badgers Holt is central for both the North and the South coasts giving a choice of many beaches for swimming, surfing and sunbathing. There are many local attractions such as The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, there are many other tourist attractions to visit as well as the beautiful countryside and the mining trails and building which are now listed as a World Heritage Site. There is an outside lock-up which can be used to store surf boards, bikes etc.
