The Quietest Place You'll ever Stay

A great place to retreat from the world. It is the most quiet spot I've been to apart from canoe trips to Algonquin Park.

You have to be willing to use an outhouse and compost toilet and deal without a shower. It is far better than a camping trip. My kids enjoyed using the shower bag outside attached to the porch. Watching the hummingbirds throughout the day is a highlight. We also enjoyed using the puzzles upstairs in the loft.

The only downside was not being able to bike on the property because it is too rocky. You must be vigilant of the poison ivy around the cottage and the driveway.

We did many day trips which included Lions Head Beach, Red Bay, Cabot Head Lighthouse and Cyprus Lake National Park.
