Barn Owl Barn is simply perfect! Close to the dramatic shores of the North Cornish coast you will find this tranquil little retreat. Full of charm, nestled in peaceful farmland, Barn Owl Barn is the most perfect place to enjoy a relaxing, carefree holiday whist at the same time being ideally located for exploring this wildly beautiful area.This newly converted detached barn sleeps 2 (4 when using sofa bed) and promises a warm welcome. Beautifully styled with a mix of the contemporary and traditional fabrics and furnishings, guests are sure to feel right at home. Enjoy cooking up some of the delicious local fare in the newly fitted kitchen or curl up on the sofa with one of the many books provided- and relax! Guests will enjoy peace and quiet and the open countryside views from the sunny patio. If you are a keen bird watcher then this is the place to stay. As part of our planning consent we have mounted a barn owl nesting box on one side of the barn as it did used to be home to barn owls before the barn was converted. We are now pleased to report that over the last 2 seasons the owls have successfully reared their chicks and have wowed our guests. * Barn Owl Barn can accommodate 4 though guests should be aware that the bathroom is a-joining the double bedroom, therefore guests sleeping on the sofa bed would need to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Bedding is not provided for the sofa bed.

“Brilliant relaxing stay”
Beautiful retreat in a perfect location for exploring Cornwall. So peaceful but only 5 mins from Rock or Wadebridge. Will definitely return. Thanks Ian.

“Barn owl barn”
A wonderful retreat set in farm land, if you are looking for peace and tranquility this well equipped little cottage is ideal. We enjoyed relaxing each evening watching the barn owls. This cottage is ideally situated for exploring the local area with rock,Padstow, polzeith and port isacc a stones throw away. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well furnished a home away from home, we instantly felt at home here and look forward to our next visit.

Beautifully decorated, clean and comfy cottage. Perfect for 2 people. Good shower and comfortable bed. Host, Ian, could not have been more helpful. Good location for Polzeath, Rock, Daymer Bay and Wadebridge. No wifi but that might be just what you need!
