We rented this small appartement in a small quiet street in the vicinity of the Campo di Fiori, because we wanted to be in the real center of Rome with walking distance to all attractions in all directions. This appartement fulfilled completely our wish.
The owner Sonia and her husband sent a taxi for us to the airport, they waited for us in the appartement, explained us everything including the shops and the restaurants in the surrounding and organized a taxi transfer bach to the airport. The appartement was very clean, in the night very quiet, had washing machine with washing powder, which was very useful in hot days in augustus in Rome, perfect shower, towels for us and for the dishes, soap for the dishes and for the hands, tv and wifi. We felt like people living in Rome, what was also one of our goals. A small remark for the future, the double bed is making noice when one has to turn or stand up and there is a finnair wood damage on the corner of the bed around which one has to pass between the airconditioning machine and the bed. I have hurt my foot several times. Also the airconditioning machine is very noisy.

Stayed for 9 nights in June with my boyfriend. The apartment is terrific for 2 people, with a nice, small kitchen and an ample bathroom. While officially sleeping 4 (in a king bed and two pullout chair-beds) I would say it is much better for just 2 adults or a family with a couple of children. Positives incl an air conditioner (summer is hot!), washing machine (makes it easy to pack light!), simple kitchen (for making breakfasts/lunches with good food from the nearby market at Campo d'Fiori), great water pressure in shower (sometimes rare), and a quiet building. It got a wee damp, but that was quickly eliminated with the air conditioner. There is little space to store clothing, making it best for 2 rather than 4.
Location is great - within walking distance of critical sites from incl Vatican & Colosseo. Piazza Navonna & the Pantheon are nearby, as are the Trastevere & the "Jewish Ghetto" with great restaurants. There are supermarkets and drugstores all over. A major bus stop is one block away. The Roman Metro is terrible in general, and the apartment is far from any Metro stop so ignore Metro based tourist directions (e.g., Rick Steves). We generally took taxis and the most expensive ride was about 15 euros all the way across town. There is a taxi stand 2 blocks away.
The owners are fantastic. Sonia was great even when I needed to change the reservation several times. Uncle Franco met us at the apartment, introduced us to the amenities, took us on a tour of the neighborhood, and even wrote out directions to buses, etc. ahead of time. Take my advice, allow them to arrange airport transportation! For 50 euro, payable to the driver, they arrange a limo for you that picks you up at the airport and takes you back from the apartment. Awesome! (A taxi is 45 euro by comparison).
I've been to Rome many times, at big hotels and B&Bs.; In a hotel, you're always a tourist. In an apartment, you feel like a Roman. If I go back, no doubt I'll stay here again.
“Fantastic location, everything you need, wonderful hosts”

Our family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed here for several days in mid-February 2013. We initially chose the apartment for its great location, which is in a quiet street off the Campo de Fiori and therefore central to Vatican/Trastevere as well as Via Condotti/ Spanish Steps/ Foro Romano. You can walk anywhere you'd want to, really, from this apartment. Once we arrived, we were impressed by the wonderful hospitality of Uncle Franco, who came to meet us near our car with umbrellas in the middle of a brutal, summer-style thunderstorm-- and then helped us negotiate with the owner of a nearby garage. The apartment itself is darling and has everything you'll need. There's a grocery store just around the corner and a few good restaurants nearby for nights when you are tired of walking-- we'd also recommend the Syrian hookah bar and glass shop that is next door. There is public and garage parking available nearby, which is a huge bonus in the City Center. They have beautiful things. In short, stay here!
“Perfect location with clean and quiet comfort too!”

This was a wonderful experience staying at this apartment. The communication with the landlady was excellent, timely, helpful and kind. The apartment itself was in a great location, quiet, air conditioned, clean. good kitchen, sleeping comfortably 4 adults. We went to the fresh market everyday and we were in waling distance of the two beautiful piazzas: Navona and Fiori. Bus transportation within a 10 min. walk, and walking distance to all the great sites: Vatican, Forum, etc.

Merci. Nous le recommandons !

Upon arrival uncle Franco was there to greet us. We didn't know too much about the neighborhood and Franco took the time to show us around, and make us feel comfortable.
The apartment is adorable! I was traveling with my sister and it was exactly what we needed. There are lots of cute shops on the street, and an amazing restaurant called Bric enoteca a couple of doors down. The apt is very central to all of the sights in Rome.
Overall we had a wonderful experience. I can't wait to come back!!!
