Sleek clean lines and plenty of amenities make this a comfortable and organized apartment. It has two rare features very hard to find in most Rome vacation apartments: a clothes dryer (in addition to a washer) and central air conditioning. Add to that a terrace for an exceptional apartment.

Off the apartment entry foyer is an attractive and well-lit hallway. The design makes the most of the long corridor, with the bedrooms, bathrooms, terrace off to one side, railroad style. Proceed through into the modern kitchen fitted within the corridor. It maximizes the use of space with a wall of mirrors to one side opposite the kitchen countertop. The open plan kitchen leads to the living room, a good layout so families and friends can enjoy socializing between the living/dining area and the kitchen, which are all connected.
At the end of the corridor is the large and sunny living room/dining room. It has two windows that overlook the street below, the windows are large and fill the room with light. Italian-chic modern L-shaped sofa, a matching armchair and modern lamp make up the living room area which also features a flat-screen TV. The sofa converts to a queen sized bed. Everything is well organized and carefully thought out for guests' comfort, with minimal clutter and distractions.
The dining area is bright with a handsome table that seats 6. The same modern, monochromatic tone is carried through in this area, accented with a fine, beautifully framed antique painting on the wall.
The electronics here are complete with a large television with Satellite reception, iPod/iPhone dock, PS3 game console with some games, wifi as well as direct cable internet and a wifi printer.
The kitchen is a model of precise planning and quality finishes. The shimmer of stainless steel countertops, neatly organized glassware and dishes are reflected in the wall-to-wall mirror on the opposite wall. It's a clever use of the corridor that leads to the living room. The uncluttered harmony seen in the living room is carried through in a pleasing way here too. The kitchen has a 4-burner induction stove top, convection oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip and Italian coffee pots.
Backtracking down the corridor is the master bedroom, with ample closet space and a window out to the attractive terrace. The bedroom has a large queen sized bed (63x79", 160x200cm), another rarity in Italian vacation rental properties.
There is a split bathroom off the corridor, just before the terrace. On one side is an enclosed shower and sink. On the other side is a toilet, bidet and sink.
An important feature is that the bedrooms are positioned in the middle of the apartment, each with a window that opens to the terrace. Because they are not near the street, they offer a tranquility not possible with street-facing views.
In the middle of the apartment is the very pleasant, shady terrace with a table and 3 chairs, a quiet retreat for sipping your morning espresso or enjoying a glass of wine at night.
The second bedroom is also off the corridor leading back towards the entry foyer. It has cute child-friendly decor with bunk beds and an adjoining bathroom with enclosed shower, sink and toilet....Read more

Just returned from a dream vacation to Rome. We had such an incredible apartment that suited all of our needs for our family of 5. The location couldn't be better. All the main attractions are within walking distance. The bus stop was 3 minutes away but we enjoyed walking to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Greggory's Jazz Bar, etc. Our greeter Rosie was lovely and delightful and always available when we called. The apartment was very clean and had a full kitchen and washer and dryer. One of the best restaurants (Sofia's) was located right across the street. Rosie was most informative with places to go on the map and good places to eat. It does not get any better than this. We will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends. Read more
Thank you so much. You really can't beat this location, can you?

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Sabini! The location was ideal (never used any transport, walked everywhere), the property was fully equipped including umbrellas, very clean and organized , well decorated, spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. Rosie and Stefano were punctual, courteous and very helpful. I have already recommended the apartment to any colleague traveling to Rome in the near future. Your rental service was extremely well organized and made our arrangements very easy. One never knows when buying over the Internet and you have definitely made our first vacation rental the first of many. Our Roman experience was simply amazing thanks to the reservation and apartment itself. Read more

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Sabini apartment in Rome. The apartment was modern, clean and spacious. There were five of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. We really liked the location near the Spanish Steps. We spent most of our time walking or taking the subway and both were easy to do from our location. The greeter was there as planned to meet us and explained everything in the apartment and also gave us some helpful sightseeing and restaurant tips.
Overall, I really enjoyed working with your company from my initial phone call to discuss the apartments I was considering, to your responsiveness to my e-mail questions before the trip, to the apartments themselves and to the greeters. I had been very pleased with a vacation apartment rental we had through Paris Perfect a few years earlier and found Italy Perfect also to be reliable and deliver both quality properties and helpful service. On this trip, I also stayed at Italy Perfect's Toscanella apartment in Florence. I have recommended your company to people I know who are considering trips to Italy in the future. Read more

The apartment had the 'wow' factor - it was beautifully appointed with all the modern conveniences, yet situated in an old established building minutes from the Spanish Steps. The kids (14yrs & 11yrs) loved the bunks and had their own bathroom facilities. The cooking facilities were all there but there were good restaurant options (which we used) close by. We walked everywhere from the apartment (no public transport needed) and it was great to come 'home' and relax in such comfortable and well appointed surroundings. Rosie the 'greeter' was wonderfully helpful and the availability of Stefano (the driver) made life very easy indeed. Would (and, indeed, have) unreservedly recommend this apartment to friends and colleagues and would return tomorrow, myself, ... if that was an option!

Great location, clean, spacious, and nicely furnished apartment that matched the online description exactly. The greeter, Rosie, was lovely. Beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room for our clothes and other stuff. We were able to spread out and enjoy our home away from home - parents and teenage daughter each had the necessary space.
We didn't use the kitchen beyond simple snacks and breakfasts. Appliances (dishwasher, washer, dryer) all worked well. There are ample guidebooks that we used as well as our own. The showers/bathrooms are much smaller than us, so if that's an issue for you, be aware. They are typical size for Italy. Water pressure was excellent and there was always hot water.
The apartment is an easy flight of stairs up from street level.
We recommend the restaurant right across the street - Sofia's. The amatriciana is delicious! Pizza Ciro right down the street on Via de Mercede is a convenient pizza place. The grocery store is an easy walk, and there is another wonderful retaurant called That's amore right next to the Despar (grocery store). Gregory's Jazz Bar is a 30-second walk from the front door and offers live music at night beginning at 10:30.
We walked everywhere as the apartment is very centrally located. There are two metro stops very close that we did use one day.
Pat at Italy Perfect was incredibly helpful and supportive, especially when my computer "ate" all my previous emails and I'd lost all the necessary information! The driver she recommends, Stefano, was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Although you can take the train from FCO airport into Rome, the convenience of a driver can't be overstated.
Rome was clean, safe, and gorgeous. Learn a few key phrases and you'll have no problems at all.
Sabini was a wonderful home away from home. We would stay there again, and we would definitely choose Pat's company for future travel!
Great location, center of Rome, comfortable apartment.

We had a great experience renting Sabini, the process was simple and they answered all of my questions. We used the very good driver they recommended to get from FCO to the apt. (Stefano), he called our greeter Rosie, and coordinated our meeting with her at the apt.. Rosie was very friendly and polite. We called her twice during our stay with questions, she was very helpful. I used the printer once to print passes, it was low on ink, but it worked, and we mentioned this to Rosie when we left. Sabini has a nice layout, ideal for a family of four. We made dinner in the kitchen several times, & it was well equipped. It only lacked a collander, but that was not a big deal. Everything worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable, & we liked having two bathrooms. We never ran out of hot water, and had no plumbing problems other than slow drains, which I've heard is common in Rome. We didn't ever use the outdoor space, it was very dark and felt more like a utility space, not the terrace we were hoping for, which was the only thing we didn't like about the apartment. Everything else was as expected or better. I can't review the aC because we didn't need it. There was typical big city noise, but not bad for being in the center of Rome. We liked the metal security shutters on the windows that allowed airflow and privacy at night, but that couldn't be opened from the outside (without making an extreme amount of noise). The apartment is on the 2nd floor (Euro 1st), and has two windows perfect for people watching on the street. We could hear a choir practicing across the street through an open window on our first day, and it was lovely. We highly recommend dining at Sofia across the street, nice couple, great food, wine & not a tourist trap. We would stay at Sabini again, and would recommend it to friends, as long as a terrace wasn't a necessity. Perfect, central location and we walked everywhere. Great experience overall! Read more

Centrally located, this charming two bedroom apartment exceeded our expectations by far. Traveling overseas with two children ages 5 and 8 is not always easy and this spacious apartment provided us with everything we could possibly need. Apartment Sabini, is located just minutes away from the Spanish Steps, upscale shops, taxi cab stand, two supermarkets, and many wonderful restaurants making our stay a memorable one. Additionally, we were able to sleep comfortably during the hot summer heat wave with the air condition. Lastly, Pat Byrne, owner of Italy Perfect, provided us with incredibly detailed information on Rome -- restaurants, shops, sights, etc. She served as our personal concierg -- she isincredibly detail oriented and responded to all my inquiries in a very timely manner. We will certainly choose to stay in apartment Sabini and use Italy Perfect again for future visits!!!

Sabini apartment was perfect. It was exactly as displayed in your ad. The location was great. 5 minute walk to metro and Spanish Steps, 5-10 minutes to Trevi Fountain. Restaurants everywhere. Our greeter was on call if we needed her, which we did one time and she was very responsive. The a/c felt wonderful and cooled the place down very quickly which was great because we had 90 degree weather in July. I would recommend using Italy Perfect because it took a lot of the guess work out of everything. The information which we received on phones, utilities, restaurants, tours, etc. was so informative. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect and will use your company again on my next trip to Italy which I hope will be within the next year or two. Read more

Location, style and comfort in Rome!

Our family spent 4 nights at the Sabini in July 2012. Rome was so busy, and very hot: we loved having a convenient city oasis. Plenty of stylish space for our family, including a separate bathroom for the kids (a real plus). The windows must be fairly new - no street noise at all when closed. Streamlined, sleek new kitchen with basic cooking gear & a very large refrigerator. Comfortable living-dining room with plenty of seating for our family.
The apartment is well located on a quieter street just a block from the very busy Spanish steps and an easy walk to the metro. Right across the street is a bar/tabac for your morning coffee, plus a nice restaurant for supper. Many many shops and restaurants in a 5 minute stroll from the apartment - it was hard to decide where to eat!
We walked all over, and used the metro to get out to the Colosseum and Vatican City. The apartment had lots of guidebooks and maps too, supplementing our own. It was easy meeting our greeter, Rosie, and she did a great job of showing us how all the appliances work.
We would definitely use Italy Perfect again and recommend it to friends as well. Read more

The Sabini apartment was perfect for our stay in Rome. We are a family of four, with two pre-teens. The location was terrific, with restaurants, coffee bars, and gelato close by. The Spanish Steps is just a few blocks away, where you can pick up a taxi for a short ride to other parts of town. The apartment itself was very clean and safe. The beds were very comfortable. With two bathrooms - no fighting! Having a clothes washer and dryer was important, as well as a nice kitchen for breakfast prep. The greeter was very helpful. The host provided guidebooks and local recommendations. Overall, a great place to stay. We would definitely stay there again. Read more

Loved the Sabini!

My family and I stayed at the Sabini apartment over the Easter Holiday. It was wonderful. The apartment was modern, sparkling clean and had everything you would need. There were also helpful suggestions and instructions all written in english. It was in a great location -- we walked everywhere. It was also very close to the metro, which we used all the time. We got a weekly pass for the metro and it worked out great. The street had some action, but as soon as you closed the windows in the living room, it was extremely quiet. There was a nice grocery store around the corner, as well as a terrific place to get cappuccino, espresso, and snacks on the next street called "Trinita Bar". They were so nice there and remembered us and what we ordered from the first time we went in -- it's right near the Trinita Church. Pat Byrnes from Italy Perfect recommended a driver, and Stefano was right there when we got off the plane with my name. When he took us back to the airport, he was punctual. Also, our greeter was waiting for us outside the apartment when we arrived and she showed us everything in the apartment. She was wonderful. Also, the rental company we used -- Italy Perfect -- was very professional. Pat Byrnes was very efficient and helpful. You should feel very comfortable renting from this company. I couldn't have had a better time in Rome. We will definitely stay at the Sabini apartment again if I am ever lucky enough to go back to Rome.
