4 of us visited after ending a cruise in Civitavecchia. I contacted alessandro who then told us where to get off the train. This saved a load of time as it was nearer the apartment. He then came to pick us up. He made 2 trips as we had so many bags. We were early and the apartment was being used so he kept our things safe whilst we started out visiting.
He then collected us from Rome and took us back to the apartment and gave us loads of tips for the local area. His advice was great. The apartment was of a good standard. The 2 single beds were very firm which our mothers liked. Our room had a double sofa bed which was very comfortable. The internet was free and fast. Alessandro speaks perfect English. If we go back we will stay with alessandro again.
"Very comfortable apartment and friendly, accommodating hosts!"

We loved our home-away-from-home in Rome. Alessandro, who speaks great English, picked us up at the train station which was wonderful. He also referred us to a lovely neighborhood restaurant for a family birthday celebration. The apartment was well-stocked and very comfortable for 5 adults. We loved starting every morning at the neighborhood bar for cappucini, home made pastries, and friendly owners. The bus stop is close by for easy access to the main sites in the city or other connections. Going "home" after long, noisy days in the center of Rome was refreshing and enjoyable. This is a great apartment for visitors who want to get away from the touristy part of Rome and live with the locals. Thank you alessandro!!

We had a great week-long stay in this lovely flat on the Monteverde. Alessandro gave us a warm welcome on the first day, leaving us a mobile phone in case we had any further questions during the week. Everything worked perfectly and was just right for our needs. I would highly recommend it. Read more

The location of the appartment was a great balance between quite & beautiful area, and being close to the city centre and all famous Rome sightseeings. A number of extras in the service, which actually make great impression - all the small things made us feel very comfortable and made our life a lot easier - the transport secured to the appartment when we arrived, the fridge was alerady filled with enough products to have a nice breakfast to say welcome, the tourist materials, the places around the appartment recommended by the owner (fast food, restaurant, shops, etc). All those things make you feel like someone is taking care of you.
I would definitely recommend the appartment - very cosy and spacious place with perfect service. The only comment I would have is that we didn't have the chance to go out for a beer with the owner :) Read more

Our stay in Rome couldn't have been better and all in great part to alessandro and his father Maurizio. My family and I were all coming from different locations at different times to stay in alessandro's apartment and it could have been a nightmare if it wasn't for him and his father. I arrived first and Maurizio called me once I arrived, met me at the train station, drove me around the area of the apartment to show me the local attractions and brought me to the apartment. Once at the apartment he greeted me with a nice bottle of wine and snacks which I thought was a nice touch. I got a tour of the apartment, showed me how to work the internet, washer and TV and provided me with a map of Rome with their recommendations of places to visit. He even provided me with discounts to some of the restaurants in the area and a local cellphone in case I had any questions. While I was there alone Maurizio periodically checked on me which was nice of him. My mother was the next to arrive then a few days later my sister and her baby arrived and alessandro and Maurizio were gracious enough to also make arrangements to pick them up. Being in their apartment was like being in a hotel but with a more personal touch. It was perfect for 3 adults and a baby. If I ever get a chance to go back to Rome, which I hope I do, I would most definitely stay there.

My girlfriend and I stayed at alessandro's apartment in Rome for 5 days and could not have asked for a better experience. Alessandro was very helpful in getting us settled in and offering us numerous suggestions on what to do and see while in Rome. The apartment was In a great queit area with all necessary amenities within a few minute walk from the front door. The bus stop to the center was very close but we decided on the short enjoyable walk to the center instead. The apartment was large and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals and the living room was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing and walking around. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Rome because the apartment was fantastic and alessandro went above and beyond as a host to make sure our stay was a relaxing one.

Last November my family and I went on vacation in Rome. Happy holiday home was definitely the best place we could have chosen for our stay. The apartment is brand new and has all the comforts of home. The neighborhood is beautiful and incredibly convenient for people staying in Rome for a few days; you can get to heart of the city in just a few minutes on foot or by bus. The hospitality was also fantastic! Alessandro, the owner, came to pick us up at the train station in his own car and gave us great advice about all the best places to visit in his home city.
I travel a lot and HHH was probably one of the best apartments in which I've stayed. I hope to go back soon and I am definitely going to recommend it to all my friends traveling to Rome!
