The "Trastevere 1888 Le Botteghe" are 2 X 50 square meters "twin" lofts, that can be connected (or separated) by internal door. Each loft has a living area with kitchenette, a small and romantic bedroom and separate bathroom with shower. In the living area there is a second double wall bed. The decor, nice and original, is made partly from recycled materials, such as industrial lamps, from an old auto shop, the '40s Mobil gas station, or kitchen Gasfire 50 years. Additional Location Information

"Tratevere 1888 Le Botteghe" is a home for your vacation in Rome, built in the 17th century and situated in the center of Rome, in the quaint neighborhood of Trastevere. As its name implies, the apartment has been created by the recovery of some workshops of the palace built by the Torlonia family in Via Dei Riari in 1888. The house is located in a strategic area for an unforgettable holiday in the most authentically Roman zone, which is part of a major tourist city, (you can walk by feet to the Tiber Island, Campo de 'Fiori, Piazza Navona, St. Peter, the Roman Forum, Pantheon, Colosseum, Capitoline Hill and the Janiculum) but at the same time has maintained its distinctive rhythm and style of life. The urban fabric of Trastevere, full of cafes and markets, is wrapped with a vast network of streets around the main square of Santa Maria in Trastevere and his church, founded around 220 AD. C. The apartment Trastevere 1888, in Via Dei Riari, is one step away from the Accademia dei Lincei founded in the early '600 by Federico Cesi, the Galleria Corsini where are hosted major artistic works (Guido Reni, Lanfranco, Tiepolo, Canaletto, Carlo Maratta and Luca Giordano) and the Villa Farnesina, where you can admire frescoes by Raffaello. And finally is close to the Botanic Garden whose ramifications can be seen from the main door of the apartment. Spending a few days in Trastevere is the perfect opportunity for those who want to feel like a Roman. This village is 'today a source of pride for the locals who praised him as the most authentic part of Rome. Walking through the alleys of Trastevere you can hear the sound of high heels on the "sampietrini" that form the pavement characteristic typical of the historical center of Rome. The glare produced by the warm colors of the buildings re-creates an effect similar to a sunset. The windows, softened with potted flowers, surrounded by ivy. The laundry hanging is moved by the breeze that creeps through the streets. At lunchtime, nice to hear the inviting aroma of traditional Roman dishes that blend with the aroma of coffee bars in the neighborhood. Trastevere is located near the magnificent monuments of the city, and 'the perfect place to turn our gaze to the Rome of the past and at the same time, enjoy its contemporary look.
