Description

Much like the majestic coastal bird it’s named for, Blue Heron Cottage & Carriage House is classic, elegant, and quintessentially Floridian. Filled to the brim with luxurious finishes— like hardwood floors, marble countertops, and Viking appliances— this serene 4-bedroom/4.5-bath retreat is located on an idyllic sun-kissed corner of Rosemary Beach. You’ll be steps away from the gorgeous Sky Pool and a short bike ride to the sandy beach.

Enter through the front door and into the open-concept, professionally decorated living space. Neutral sand tones and crisp whites are accented with pops of soothing navy blue. Painted wood beams highlight the high ceilings overhead. The glossy blue accents continue into the kitchen, where custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances create the perfect spot to brew the morning coffee or flip a stack of banana pancakes in the morning.

Upstairs are three private bedroom suites, each with its own bathroom. The primary suite features a sumptuous king-size bed and a spa-like bathroom with a walk-in closet and a freestanding garden tub. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom includes a twin-over-twin-size bunk bed and a queen sized bed. There’s also a washer and dryer on this floor.

Just across the private courtyard lies the Blue Heron Carriage House. Although a part of the Blue Heron property, the carriage house offers a wonderful separation and feeling of space for large groups. The carriage house includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a full bathroom, a living area with a sleeper sofa, and a full kitchen. Charming white shiplap and nautical accent pieces add a lovely, beachy charm to this elegant space.

Blue Heron Cottage & Carriage House has lots of peaceful, sun-dappled outdoor space, too. Take your mug of coffee out to the wrap-around balcony in the mornings, or relax with a frosty courtyard cocktail in the late afternoon while burgers grill on the Green Egg. When you’re ready to explore Rosemary Beach, slip on your flip-flops and take a stroll— there are lots of options for dining and shopping right around the corner. Plus, the heated Sky Pool is across the street. And when you want to hit the beach, it’s a short bike ride across 30A to the sand.
