Villa Struka is a cosy riverside villa suited for 10-12 people. In the villa we have beds for 16 people so it is possible to accommodate even 16 people. The villa is located in Pyhtää, between Kotka and Loviisa. The riverside villa is made of log-wood and it is has partly two-stories. The 130 m2 villa is suitable for holiday location, but also for meetings and small festivals.
In Struka villa there is a spacious living area downstairs with a large comfortable sofa, four armchairs and a wood burning fireplace. Beautiful river view from living room. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for 10 people. Downstairs also has three twin bedrooms, sauna, a shower room and two toilets. Upstairs includes a large space that has a pool table and single beds for five people. Above sauna there is a sleeping alcove with one queen bed and two twin beds. The alcove is accessed via a separate entrance from the sauna terrace.
The house is warm and it is suitable for holidays all year around. From the air heating pump you can adjust the heating at the desired temperature in the winter and in the summer.
On the villa yard we have large terrace with outdoor dining possibilities. There is also a barbecue hut that is suitable for about 10 people to sit and dine around the gas cooking plate. For chilly nights there is also a heater in the hut.
On the villa yard we also have a hot outdoor pool for rent. The pool is wood-heated and can be used all year around. For one night the rent is 90 euros and for a weekend it is 140 euros.
By the river we have a pier and a swimming ladder. The flow in the river is not too strong, so you can easily have a swim in the river.

About 1 km away from the villa there is a Sirius fly and surf center.
From the villa there is access by the river to the sea. The unique archipelago off the Pyhtää coastline offers excellent landing and camping sites for those travelling by boat. The astonishing Kaunissaari island can be reached by a scheduled boat service from the village of Pyhtää and from the Sapokka Water Garden in Kotka. When departing from Pyhtää, the boat first travels by the Kymijoki river through the manually operated dam and locks at Struka. The outer islands of Pyhtää form part of the Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park.
Struka villa is only about 30 kilometers from Kotka city. Kotka is the second largest city in Kymenlaakso County. It is located on the coast of the Baltic Sea, the Gulf of Finland, at the estuary of Kymi river. Kotka is known by its port, industry and maritime festivals. Kotka is also known as a multifaceted city of educational institutions and culture.
Kotka is located 130 km east from Helsinki and 290 km west from St. Petersburg; the highway no 18 runs through Kotka. In the city there are two centres, Kotkansaari (the Isle of Kotka) and Karhula. The characteristics of Kotka are based on the sea and Kymi river. The port of HaminaKotka is the biggest universal, export and transshipment port in Finland. The main traffic consists of timber, paper, metal and stone. Kymi river is famous for fishing, you may catch salmon, pike, whitefish, perch, pike perch... There are also many possibilities to paddle and shoot the rapids in the river. The archipelago of Kotka consists of tens of islands.
