Description

Exquisite Seaside Apartment is in an idyllic location. This property is the perfect base for both city & countryside touring. Its location is suitable for both relaxation & adventure, there are numerous leisure activities in the area.

The apartment sleeps 6 people comfortably. First bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has 2 singles and the sofa converts to a king-size bed.

It takes 30 minutes by train or car to Dublin city centre, 20 minutes to Dublin Airport and a 10 minutes walk to the local village.

Rush was a small fishing village & is now a bustling seaside town. It has two beaches one of which the property is located on. This beach has lovely golden sand and is safe to swim in. At one end are cliffs with a Martello Tower & the other end is the harbour & local village. The village has much to offer in eating & drinking. There is also a local theatre, sailing & golf club

Dublin city centre with all its attractions is only a short train or car journey away.

We are also only 30 minutes to the famous Newgrange heritage site and the Hill of Tara

As we are on the east coast of Ireland the weather is mainly dry and mild.

Getting around

The local town is a 10 minute walk Nearest pub & restaurant is a 7 minute walk Nearest supermarket is 20 minute walk. Dublin airport 20 minutes by car or 40 minutes by bus. Dublin city centre 30 minutes by car or train. 1hour 30minutes by bus. A car is advisable but you can use public transport. There is a train station in Rush but unfortunately it was built between two towns and is a 30 minute walk. You can access the train station by bus (10 minutes) or taxi €7. The bus stop 5 minute walk from the apartment. This bus also services the airport and Dublin city centre.

“Great apartment in a fantastic location”

We enjoyed a 5 night stay at Argyle Lodge. The apartment was very clean & kitted out with everything you could need. Comfy beds & nice large shower. The location couldn't be better with just a 30 second stroll to the lovely beach!. A short stroll along the beach takes you to the beachside playground & the local pub 'The Harbour Bar which serves very nice food. The apartment owners were very friendly & were on site if you needed them. All in all a lovely place.
