Description

Cranford on the Miles is a waterfront home located on 3+ acres, in St. Michaels. Fully renovated, with WI-Fi, there is a Master Bedroom with king bed, sitting room, and private balcony; Second Bedroom with a double bed; Third Bedroom with both a double and twin bed; and a Den with a trundle bed with 2 twins beds and a second balcony. Downstairs there is a queen sofa bed. Every room has a view of the water.

Linens, towels, blankets and pillows provided.

Provided are two kayaks (one single, one double) for exploring the Chesapeake.

From the private dock you can watch wildlife, fish or crab (we usually catch a dozen crabs a day). Roast marshmallows over the fire pit, or cook your fish on the grill. Bring your boat and launch from the public boat ramp within walking distance.

Or just relax on either the screened porch with ceiling fans, cushioned sofa and chairs, or the front porch rocking chairs. Indoors, every bedroom has a satellite TV, two DVD players, games, books, and music CDs for all ages. The second family room has a fireplace.

Get away and relax at Cranford on the Miles, a piece of true Eastern shore elegance dating back to 1840. Tucked away on over 3.5 park-like acres, you'll be enchanted by gorgeous broad water views. Sip coffee, have breakfast or evening drinks on your wrap-around screened waterside porch. Crab off the dock or take a family bike ride into the charming town of St. Michaels. Later, gather in the gourmet kitchen to prepare a dinner of the fish and crab you caught on your private dock. In the evening, open the sliders off the bedrooms and watch the stars, swans and beautiful sunsets from the two decks.

Enjoy the many open family rooms and challenge the kids to one of the board games provided. There are 4 separate areas for watching Direct TV. For outdoor fun, try your hand at croquet or volleyball, or roast marshmallows over the fire pit.

There is a community pool about 1 mile from the house.

Pricey for an older home that needs some repairs but the fantastic views and convenient location are wonderful. Well-stocked.
