The Location: Siren's Song is located within an exclusive 400+ acre development, The Preserve at Botany Bay, which currently has 8 large homes on 2.5 to 15 acre lots, and a security gate manned 24/7. Siren’s Song is perched on its 2.5+ acre gated lot of cliff top land, with 700 ft of water front. A 5 min stroll takes you to the beach at Mermaids Chair, a sand bar that separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Caribbean Sea and connects St Thomas to a small island to the West, called Little St Thomas, owned by the Nature Conservancy. The beaches of sand, shells, corals and pebbles are constantly changing with the winds and the tides. Just off shore the unspoiled coral reefs are alive with a multitude of live hard and soft corals and many different species of tropical fish. Your neighbors are Siren's Song's owners who live on the adjacent lot and are happy to assist if needed. The living area, dining area, five bedrooms and outdoor terrace have balconies with stunning 250+ degree sea views sprinkled with uninhabited islands. On a clear day you can see St Croix to the South and Puerto Rico to the West. If you yearn for peace, serenity and tranquility away from crowds and traffic, and want an unforgettable island experience that few have been privileged to share, then Siren's Song will enchant you; yet its only a 20 min drive to downtown, abundant with activities and world class restaurants.
The House – Main Level: A terra-cotta replica Chinese emperor welcomes you into Siren's Sons' foyer where a waterfall ushers you into this luxurious villa. Ahead is a cozy sitting area with six chairs and steps leading down to the pool level below. To your right is the gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area, with alfresco dining on the terrace beyond. The terrace has a gas grill and 2 dining tables each with a sun umbrella for shade and 6 chairs. The dining area has a 12 ft dining table with 14 matching dining chairs. To your left is a powder room, the living area with three comfy white sofas and media center. Further to the left an archway leads to 3 air conditioned bedrooms (2 king and 1 twin) and 2 bathrooms. The king bedroom with forest views has a separate outdoor entrance. The main level has Italian ceramic tiles on the floors, with scattered rugs and natural wood ceilings. Furnishings are largely mahogany reproduction Caribbean antiques with art work collected from around the world by the owners.
The House – Upper Level: Siren’s Song’s upper level, accessed by a stylishly curved staircase from the main level has 4 air conditioned bedrooms, each with a 4 poster, king size bed and en-suite bath, and its own private balcony with sea and island views. There is a sofa bed in a smaller air-conditioned room, which has an enclosed washer / dryer laundry, perfect for small children who must be near parents. Another sofa bed is on the large atrium landing of the upper level. A deck with chairs extends along a portion of the upper level, with forest views, swept by refreshing Caribbean trade-winds. The upper level has wooden floors, with scattered rugs and wooden cathedral ceilings. Furnishings are largely mahogany reproduction Caribbean antiques with art work collected from around the world by the owners.
The House – Pool Level: At the pool level, five fountains cascade into the infinity edge pool, which overlooks the lower level gardens, Caribbean Sea and several uninhabited islands. The pool is four feet deep and has benches along the sides for sitting in the pool. The pool is surrounded by green lawns and lawn furniture and there is a double sink wet bar. Additionally the pool level has a charcoal grill, and there are pool toys, beach toys, a half bathroom, outdoor shower and second washer and dryer. Under the wet bar is snorkel equipment, pool exercise equipment and fishing gear.
The Grounds: Siren's Song has 2.5 acres of land, which has mature landscaping around the house. There are lower level lawns with garden furniture and a flat grassed area about the size of a tennis court, where people can play ball games. There is driveway parking for 5 vehicles
The Beach: On the beach to the East of Mermaids Chair, the land belongs to the owners of Siren's Song and they have for your enjoyment a table, chairs and loungers. There are also 2 kayaks. From Mermaids Chair you can take a short hike across Little St Thomas to natural boulder rock pools washed by the sea. For the more adventurous a mile hike will take you to another beach within The Preserve at Botany Bay, called Sandy Bay. Mermaids Chair, Little St Thomas and Sandy Bay are generally deserted and you will probably be the only people there. Spend your sun spangled days snorkeling, shelling, beachcombing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, picnicking and luxuriating in the natural boulder pools.

We had a wonderful time at Siren's Song villa. We just loved the Preserve at Botany Bay. It is such a beautiful location and everything ran just perfect. We had the beach to ourselves and were amazed by the awesome colorful corals and variety of tropical fish. There were several in our group that have travelled to some pretty nice places and each one of us said that Siren's Song was definitely the best!

We all just loved Sirens Song, the photos and description don't do it justice. It is far nicer. We have taken a lot of family vacations and our stay at Sirens Song was by far the best ever. The location is amazing, peaceful and serene. We all had so much fun exploring the beach and Little St Thomas. Snorkeling was fabulous. The reefs are pristine and home to myriads of different species of tropical fish. The Preserve at Botany Bay is a very special place, we often saw wild deer and parrots. Lynda and Marshall couldn't have been more helpful.

Our family of five adults arrived in St. Thomas and were met at the airport by Marshall who guided us back to Siren's Song. We had the villa provisioned prior to our arrival so that it was fully stocked with food and drinks. We also pre-arranged for a private chef -- Kat Cashion, owner of The Wandering Soup Kitchen in Charlotte amalie -- who created the most amazing culinary delights of appetizers, dinners and desserts for our family.
The amenities at Siren's Song were terrific. The kitchen was large and very well organized. The bedrooms were very clean, bright and airy, each with a king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom and a fabulous view. The living area was positioned perfectly for our family to gather and enjoy the ocean view and the sunsets. Sandy Bay Beach was quiet and a great place to enjoy the surf and sand. There were lots of areas around the property to explore and take fabulous pictures. The pool was refreshing and we enjoyed it daily. There were lots of beach towels and all kinds of beach toys available for our us to use.
A rental car is a must if you want to go to town to shop, visit local attractions, pick up groceries or take a day trip to another island. Driving on the left side in an american car was a bit intimidating at first but didn't take long to get used to.
All in all, five star accommodations and a five star vacation.
Thank you Lynda and Marshall for making our family vacation so memorable. We have only one regret -- we didn't stay longer!

Siren's Song is fabulous, and exceeded all our expectations, which were very high to start with! The location is amazing, a huge, private, exclusive development, called the Preserve at Botany Bay, with very few houses on large, multi acre lots - great for hiking. The views from Siren's Song are unbeatable, almost 360 degrees of ocean views with uninhabited islands scattered around and the occasional sailing boat. On clear days we could see St Croix, and Puerto Rico. At night the stars were magical, none of us had seen the Milky Way like that before. We loved the beach and coral reefs at Mermaids Chair - totally unspoiled, and virtually private. We dined in most times because no restaurant could compete with Siren's Songs' location. The owners are Rotarians and couldn't be more kind and helpful. Very Highly recommended.

We rented Siren's Song for a birthday and family reunion for a week. Despite being at the end of the island this turned out to be perfect for us - hidden in a private estate with town only a 30 min drive away.
Even though there were 18 of us there was plenty of room in the house and we never felt cramped. All bedrooms (except one downstairs) offer glorious views over the ocean - as did the wonderful infinity pool.
Having our own secluded Caribbean beach - two if you count Sandy Bay a short but strenuous hike away - was something I don't think we could have got elsewhere. The kids loved it.
