Additional Location Information
Saint Remy de Provence is at the centre of activity in this part of southern France. Popular day-trips from our "hamlet" include Arles with its Roman ruins, Avignon and the Papal Palace, the Luberon, the beaches of the Mediterranean, ...fields of poppies, lavender in bloom, bull-fights, folk festivals, etc., the list goes on and on.
We are literally in the middle of Provence, with mountains, the seashore, museums, provencal markets, cycling and even...cooking classes and wine tasting... within easy access.
Sunshine guaranteed, interesting sight-seeing, fine wines and dining, a warm whirlpool year-round, huge pool and terraces, dinner in the oven upon arrival, wine bottles open and ready to be poured into glasses on a nicely set table...the first morning's breakfast ready for you, to assure a fast start on your provencal holiday. Our guests come from all around the world. We speak many languages and are here ready to help you to LOVE PROVENCE...just like we do.
La Tuilerie at PROVENCE PARAIDSE is in our restored "hamlet," on a hill just above the old town centre of Saint Remy de Provence. We are well within walking distance of all activities and shops, not more than 10 minutes on-foot along the old canal path or following the quiet, country road into town.
We are here to help you to love PROVENCE...just like we do!
This house is part of a cluster of seven old, provencal farm houses, which we have recently completely restored and which are perched on a hill just over St. Remy de Provence. "La Tuilerie," which sleeps 10-12 people, is close by. "Le Vieil Moulin" and "La Tour de la Girouette," which sleep 6 and 8 respectively, and "Le Mas de la Pierre Milliaire" and "La Bastide des Micocouliers" are all just down the hill...on the other side of small streams which flow through the gardens toward the watermill and cascade to make the wheel turn slowly. Our newest house is "Le Nid Biscornu," up in the trees, just for 2 people, reserved for honey-mooners and those celebrating significant anniversaries.

“Provence paradise lives up to its name!”
We spent a week in this lovely house, which is sufficiently spacious that several families, or one extended one, could participate in multiple simultaneous activities. At home there are places to read and play board/card games inside and out, a lovely swimming pool. Nearby there is a shaded running path by the canal, and, of course, St. Remy is a short walk away. Every morning a tray of warm pastries was delivered, which made a perfect start to the days. We went to open air markets in surrounding villages and in St. Remy, wine and olive oil tasting, and bicycling, all of which were lovely. And the proprietor was always available for questions or assistance. Our last night we splurged on a lovely restaurant (The Golden Goat), in Les Baux, which was superb. Definitely a "find", and a place I would love to visit again!

“We found "Eden" at Provence Paradis”
I first found Provence Paradis on VRBO for an adult group trip in 2010. For this first trip, our group of 10 stayed in Le Moulin, La Tour & a small hideaway room. Each member of our group fell totally in love with Provence Paradis. Everything was so incredible, that my husband & I returned with one of the couples in 2012, staying in Le Moulin. Again, this hamlet was truly a "Paradise." But our most amazing trip was this June, 2014. We stayed in La Tuilerie with our two sons & their wives for two weeks. Because this was our third time to stay here, I felt like William & his amazing staff were like family. From the delicious meal awaiting us, to all the "extras" William provided, we never wanted to leave. The gardens, pool & spa are so enticing that you must include time in your stay to just relax & breathe in the smells of Provence. We took many day trips recommended by William - Isle sur la Sorgue, La Vaucluse, Arles, Avignon, Chateau Neuf du Pape & so many more. William is an expert on all these sites, & we just had to mention that "William sent us" & everyone treated us like royalty. William IS Provence Paradis. His heart knows no bounds in meeting each guest's requests. He is so intuitive of his guests, that he anticipates their desires before they can. His dedication to adhering to the history & culture of this region is nothing short of a true "labor of love." Each of the houses are exemplary of French provincial architecture & decor. While staying in these houses, we get to "live" history. One of our most enjoyable activities was a personal chef day arranged by William. After discussing what we wanted to have for lunch, Maria (the chef) took us to the market in St. Remy where we bought all the fresh ingredients necessary. We then returned to La Tuilerie where we prepared our own lunch under the tutelage of this marvelous chef. Our gourmet lunch was perfect! William & a neighbor in the hamlet joined us for an unforgettable experience. We will continue to vacation in "Paradise" with William for many years to come.

“A Paradise We Didn't Want to Leave...”
Our family of four stayed for a week at La Tuilerie and never wanted to leave! Despite train and airline strikes, we finally arrived exhausted and frazzled to Provence Paradise, with "Paradise" being the operative word. Within minutes of walking into this gorgeous house and meeting William, we knew we were in for something very special. Nothing disappointed. William is the consummate host and constantly went above and beyond from daily fresh croissants, superb day trip and restaurant suggestions, beautifully appointed home and a palpable and contagious love of St. Remy. We can't wait to return to William's Paradise. Our stay here was perfect, memorable and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you for raising the bar so high, William, and we look forward to returning one day soon!!
“Paradise in St. Remy”
We just completed our stay in St. Remy at Tuilerie. The house is beautifully decorated with all the conveniences you would expect. We had 3 other couples with us as our guests, all very well travelled . What separates this and the other related properties from other rentals you might find is the owner/manager--William. If you were going to define hospitality, it would be him. From the nicely stocked kitchen, with cold drinks, wine and fruit to the daily deliveries of fresh French breakfast pastries every morning. Yes--I said every morning !! His attention to detail and being a good host is exceptional, including offering to drive us to an out of town restaurant so we wouldn't have to worry about drinking and driving. The test of a good business is repeat customers of which he has many. Add this to the fact that St Remy is one of the most charming towns in Provence.

“The amazing St. William & La Tuilerie”
Exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Delightful home within a lovely Fr.Prov. 'hamlet'. Our family of 6 from 41/2 yr granddaughter to the 40ish parents and 2 Srs.(us) enjoyed every moment. When we needed space & privacy within the lovely home, it was there. Lovely inside and outside dining. Most of all, having William, the very helpful and active multi-lingual owner couldn't do enought to help us re: what to see, where to eat, reservations, etc. etc. even including freash croissants every morning to our kitchen door with a 'How can I help you folks today?' Lovely swimming pool with plenty of private spaces around to relax together while hamlet neighbours around to chat with etc. We were referred by friends and will definitely recommend it to our friends. We are now thinking about when to go back. If you are in the process...don't wait too long...as these lovely dwellings seem to get booked far ahead. Best & warm regards to you William...you are the 'Best'. The Wards of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
“A Vacation in Paradise”
Our family of five was fortunate enough to spend almost a week in La Tulerie. In our trips, we would like to make sure that we get even a glimpse on how the locals live their everyday life. The huge property was a beautiful representation of authentic Provencal living. The house was filled with everything Provencal and we enjoyed each and every decoration that adorned the place. The owner William, was the friendliest and most helpful. We arrived quite late at night, tired, cold and hungry, but we were welcomed with a big smile, a sumptuous dinner with a huge cherry cake,a platter filled with delicious pastries and a bottle of champagne. Coming from asia, it was a delight to see and smell the scent of a burning wood from the fireplace on a cold night. Every morning, we excitedly anticipate the delivery of fresh croissants and assorted breads. Our refrigerator was filled with breakfast goodies like packs of ham, a big bowl of fresh strawberry jam, eggs, butter, milk, sodas and beer. Coffee, tea and sugar were plentiful. We never been hungry here. The kitchen had the basic condiments like olive oil, salt, balsamic vinegar, pepper and herbs. The laundry facility was a big help.Being on a 5 week tour, we badly needed this. There was a good supply of laundry detergent too. William's staff were courteous and friendly. They did an excellent job maintaining the cleanliness of the property. La Tuilerie's location can't be beat. It's very near restaurants and a good bakery. We even had a nice dinner in the nearby Chinese restaurant. A supermarket is just around the corner. It was a delight to return to La Tuilerie after our tours. We always make it a point to come home early to spend more time in this lovely place. I would gladly return to this paradise away from home.

“Beyond Our Expectations”
We read many of the favorable reviews on Trip advisor and wondered how a destination could receive so many uniformly high ratings. We came, we saw, and we are convinced that William, the owner, and his staff certainly deserve all of those favorable ratings. La Tuilerie is warm and comfortable and as beautiful a home away from home as one could imagine. The complex has the feel of a country estate but is an easy walk to the town center. The location in St. Remy is ideal as a home base to enable exploring all that Provence has to offer. The town has an abundance of fine restaurants and one of the best market days. William is the most gracious and giving host we have ever encountered. We found Willam's introductory lecture on things to do while in Provence to be interesting and very useful in our daily explorations. The selection of maps and tour guides available at La Tuilerie were much appreciated. We eagerly anticipated the morning visits with breakfast goodies delivered directly to our kitchen. The personal tour provided by William of the recently discovered underground Roman aqueduct at Chateau des alpilles and the Barbegal aqueduct near Fonteveille was beyond the call of duty for a host, but very interesting and entertaining for us. The highlight of our trip to France (which included Paris, the Riviera, the Gorges du Verdon, and Provence) was the seven days at Provence Paradise. Yes, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thank William and his staff for their part in making it so memorable. We hope that we will be able to come back to visit Provence Paradise again.

“A September week in Provence to remember”
Words cannot express what a wonderful time my wife and I had in Provence a few weeks ago. Our group of 7 couples were located in St Remy's Provence Paradise. My wife and I spent the week in the "Miller Suite", a very comfortable, well decorated and spacious area. St Remy is the place to stay for any activity touring Provence. William and his staff went way out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. In addition William held a session for all the couples to discuss best ways/days to tour the area, another personalized extra not found in typical resort settings. In our opinion you can't beat William's arrangement, price, and his personalized attention to detail and traveller comfort. His rating should be at least six stars or higher
“Provence Paradise is beyond wonderful!!!”
What a phenomenal vacation we had at Provence Paradise! We were seven couples-- four couples stayed in "La Tuilerie" and the other three couples stayed in guest houses which were right next to the main house. We chose Provence Paradise because of the location of Saint Remy and the rave reviews we read online. Our stay was beyond my wildest dreams--so relaxing and beautiful! William, the owner, gives his heart and soul into making his guest feel welcome and comfortable. The welcome dinner of delicious food and wine/beer was exquisite. Being greeted every morning with fresh baked goods was divine. The house and grounds were clean and beautiful with a real feel of Country French. The town is within walking distance and we took advantage of this to walk off some of the calories we consumed at the wide selection of fantastic restaurants. William met with us the first morning and gave us a list of highlights in the area and to assist us as needed. We took day trips to surrounding villages and sites and met back at the house in the evening to sip wine and share our day's experiences. William and his team were amazing! Not only was everything included--washer and dryer, laundry detergent, cooking staples, etc.--William was available and willing to do whatever he could to make our stay safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. Our vacation in France is full of magnificent memories. Provence Paradise will forever hold a special place in our hearts. I give it my highest recommendation for a stay in Provence.

“A quiet setting close enough to Saint Remy to walk.”
First rate accommodations furnished with an excellent mix of antiques and comfort. Interesting cluster of buildings creating a feeling of country side seclusion when in fact you are walking distance from town. William could not have been a more gracious host. He filled the week with infectious enthusiasm and practical suggestions for all Provence had to offer.
