The terrace at the back running the whole length of the building with a magnificent view of open countryside. Mature garden bordered by a small Stream. There is a private pool. Plenty of garden tables and chairs, barbeque etc. Very quiet situation, ideal for children and adults alike but within easy reach of interesting places to visit such as Brantome, beautiful location with the caves to visit. This barn conversion with magnificent views over stunning countryside is situated just outside a small village with access by a lane used only by the inhabitants of this Hamlet and therefore gives a very safe and secure environment for children. Montagrier is situated on the River Dronne where you can fish or just laze the time away on the river. There are canoes and kayaks for hire in several locations close by. If you are a cycling enthusiast there is a vibrant Cross-Country Cycling Centre in Montagrier where you can get détails of the many trails to discover and equally if you want to can hire bikes to go it alone or with a guide. There are also river beaches where children can enjoy playing. There is a market close by once a week and a visit to Périgueux is a must just half an hour away by car and is the capital of the Périgord. Again within half an hour's drive is Brantome, known as the Venice of the Périgord a wonderful place to visit to see the old now uninhabitated caves or just enjoy a drink or meal alongside the river.
