We would highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful Bed and Breakfast! The owners, Diane and Randy were so accommodating and relaxed. This was an excellent place for our family to re-connect and there so many fun options both at the B & B and on Salt Spring Island for all age groups (we had a little one and teenagers with us). We also brought our little doggies and they had a wonderful time! The breakfasts were fantastic and it was such a pleasure not to cook! We would definitely go back.

Diane and Randy Kray have a truly beautiful spot on Long Harbour on Salt Spring Island. The log cabin buildings are quaint, comfortable and you simply cannot beat the views and serenity. Water access, friendly animals, great hosts and a terrific breakfast...we will definitely be repeat visitors.

I could not think of a bad thing to say about this lovely B&B.; Diane and Randy, the horses, chickens and dog, AU were wonderful hosts. We stayed three to a two person room, and though it was a bit tight we were all very comfortable. Beautiful setting, very comfortable and homey. The breakfasts were amazing. Kayaking was great and the hot tub felt that much better afterwards.
Thanks! We'll be back.

We have stayed at Diane and Randy's welcoming B & B several times over the last two and a half years. We're always welcomed by the friendly horses and dog when we pull in the driveway! The rooms are clean and comfy, and the hosts set a great tone at their yummy breakfasts to make all the guests comfortable. Add in the use of the kayaks at their waterfront dock, and a good time is had by all!

I have nothing but good things to say about this B&B.; The room is comfortable and extremely well equipped, with a walk out to a deck and a wonderful view across the water. The breakfasts were sumptuous, to say the least, and Diane and Randy, the hosts, are charming and lovely people.
We will definitely stay with them again when we return to Salt Spring.

We stayed at The Long Harbour Cottage for three months and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage had a beautiful view with lots of private space around it to make it feel like your own island getaway.

My partner and I stayed here for two days at the end of July and it was the perfect place to unwind. Diane and Randy made us feel welcome and at home. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was homemade and delicious. All in all a wonderful start to our 10 day holiday on the Westcoast that surpassed our expectations.

When we arrived, we were pleased to see the natural surroundings and the homey setting. My husband and I had the privacy of our own room with a patio door and the my teenage twins had their own room with their own patio door. The kids spent hours by the ocean collecting star fish and crabs, while my husband and I relaxed on the hill overlooking the ocean dock. we enjoyed our wholesome breakfast and prepared our our own meals during the evening in our clean kitchenette. we loved the dog and the horses and the privacy we were given. the kids loved the hot tub. It was just what we needed.

We were fortunate last week to spend one night at the Long Harbour B & B on Salt Spring Island. It was a bit of an adventure finding it, located outside of Ganges, close to the Long Harbour ferry, but the drive was worth it. Set in a wooded setting above the harbour, our suite was warm and inviting, with many homey touches, and had everything (fully stocked kitchen area, large bath, and queen bed with futon), to ensure a wonderful stay. There are steps leading down to the harbor, where water sports (kayaking, etc.) await. Diane, the host, was wonderful - went out of her way to accommodate my gluten intolerance with homemade gluten-free muffins and waffles the next morning (yum!) as well as a tasty fruit salad and bacon. We enjoyed courtesy Dvds and lounged on our own private patio and watched the sunset. Next morning we visited the horses next door and did more lounging - in our private back area and gazing at the harbour. Wonderfully relaxing. Great family friendly dog! This B & B also offers a cabin and a large family suite, complete with acres of grass and playground, would be ideal for an extended family stay. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I also appreciated that there were no hidden fees, taxes, additonal person surchases, or single day stay surcharges. It made this B & B one of the best bargains on Salt Spring.

If you have had a "hellish year" this would be your heavenly reward. Long Harbour B&B; sits patiently waiting for your arrival. The choice of accomodations are varied - all with their own unique touches. The rooms are well appointed and the beds extremely comfortable. From each of the suites is a million dollar view. It was stunning and had a real "pinch-me" feeling to sit with a glass of vino or cup of coffee and "just be". There is a very zen feel to the B&B.; The hosts, Diane and Randy are quite accomplished in the kitchen and created some amazingly delicious breakfasts with fresh eggs from their hens. They were also very informative about attractions and activities on the island. All the amenities listed on the website really do exist and were there for our use. They even have picnic baskets for the guests to use (which we did). I would highly recommend this establishment!
