The farm is located on one of the original homesteads on the island nestled in a mountain, forest and lake ecosystem rich in flora, fauna and natural history. Mount Maxwell is a 231 hectare park located on Burgoyne Bay and the Sansome Narrows on the western shores of Saltspring island. Mount Maxwell Provincial Park contains one of the highest points on Saltspring Island in the Southern Gulf Islands. This point, called Baynes Peak, offers superb views of Vancouver Island, the surrounding Gulf Islands and the mainland of British Columbia.

The farm is located less than 3 km from the highest peak, requiring only a short hike into the park to encounter spectacular views.
