Villa Dei Bagni has 7-bedrooms with bathrooms (en suite). This stunning house has been designed with a mood of spiritual relaxation in mind, where harmonious surroundings are combined with all the technical communication requirements that are important today. The owner, a well known London designer, is known for her love of simple, clean graphic design and simple decorative ideas. The somewhat stark design is balanced throughout by softer details such as linen sheets and luxurious white towels, 19th C Welsh blankets and bold Welsh quilts with intricate patterns, from her own shop in London. ( ask us about sourcing some of these wonderful things - you can buy nearly any of the items you find in this exquisite villa) The interior design is impeccable: crisp white sheets, piles of white towels in the bathrooms, comfortable specially designed sofas, long wonderful tables to eat or work, crockery, plates, glasses to enable entertaining 24 people. Lighting on dimmers everywhere and a lot of lanterns to light up already splendourous starry nights. Summary: 6 bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, 1 staff bedroom/bathroom, a large double volume living/dining room with fireplace, media wall with plasma TV, ISDN line, and music system. An outdoor terrace to work, eat, or relax. There is an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms are large with French windows opening onto a peaceful garden. Piles of books and guardian angels can be found at your bedside! There is a choice of bedrooms: with 2 single or 1 double beds, some upholstered, some old 19th century 4-posters all with bathrooms en suite. There is throughout a feeling of well being, peace and health. There is a houseman that looks after the house, garden and the pool and an excellent cook preparing Tuscan cuisine at its best! Cooking classes can be arranged. Extra help and cars with drivers can be arranged on demand. It lies less than one hour drive from Perugia airport, less than 30 min to Chiusi train station and 1 Â½ from Rome and Florence airports. Helipads are available nearby. Montepulciano, Firenze, Siena, Arezzo and Assisi are 1/2 an hour away. The old Roman spa – from which the village derives its name – has just been refurbished offering eight natural hot water pools, beauty and health treatments. There are superb qualities wine tastings in the village and in the nearby cities, but the real secret beauty lies in the old roman roads with no traffic taking you to the medieval magical towns of the Val d'Orcia - Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, and beyond.
