The apartment has been built according to the typical Tuscan country style with stone, terracotta floors and wooden beam ceilings. Residence Il Monastero is in the small country of San Dalmazio (200 inhabitants). Its Medieval structure with alleys, tufa-made houses, a " Castellana" door and, a few step away, the archaelogic ruins (Rocca Sillana and Etruscan ruins) witness an ancient and glorious past.
You can choose the tranquillity of Monastero to recharge ones energy away from the humdrum with our swimming-pools, our olive-grove. Typical dinner is possible. Otherwise You can explore the country by walking, cycling, horse riding, or by visiting neighbouring small countries.
Residence Il Monastero is located within 1 hour motoring of Florence, San Gimignano, Siena sandy beaches and within 20 minutes motoring of Volterra.Residence Il Monastero has a big room to organize cerimonies.

The Outdoor Swimming Pool opened form the 10th of May till 20th of September.
The Indoor Swimming Pool is open the year round. On demand it can have warm up.

Extra Bed linen/bath-towels on request: € 8,00 for person (weekly change not included)
Addizional bed: € 50,00 for week.
Sauna: € 5,00 for hour.
Indoor swimming-pool: for warming up € 4,00 for person (min. € 15,00) for day.
Washing machine (shared): 3,00 € each washing.
Changeover day: the arrival time is between the 17,00 and the20,00 while the departure is not late than 10,00 (changes are possible in according with direction

CAUTION MONEY: When you arrive you have to pay a cash caution money (250,00 €) to give a guaranty: we'll give you back money at the end of your holiday as we have verified the apartment conditions. The deposit will not be refunded in case of cancellation of the stay.

“A beautiful,tranquil,place to stay ; ideal for exploring Tuscany.”
Relax , enjoy the sun and plan your excursions to the delights that Tuscany has to offer. The owners are delightful and extremely helpful. Il Monastero is charming with lovely panoramic views and a wonderful place to use as a base to explore Tuscany. Visit Florence, Volterra, Sienna, Pisa, San Gimignano and its Festa,, and many more delightful Tuscan towns and villages. All are a short drive from San Dalmazio nestling in the rolling landscape of the Tuscan hills. We have stayed here several times and have introduced are daughters to its delights. Try it you will disappointed.
