Since we made the reservation everything was perfectly organized by the landlords, so you feel secure. Once we arrived everything was as we were told so we didn't have any trouble with anything.
The apartment is decorated with modern and fine taste, everything works.
The location is great, very near of all points of interest in SF, but not to close to the crowded touristic areas.
Very convenient place to stay in SF.

My partner and I stayed here for a brief birthday stay and loved the location, modern touches, and cleanliness of the flat. The owners (Amy and Jeff) have an extreme list of rules and procedures, but once you get past that aspect of the process, the end result is worth it. The flat is within walking distance to some great restaurants and cool locally-owned shops. Chow on Church is an excellent restaurant in the Castro and you definitely want to walk over to Buena Vista Park for some of the best views of the city. A few specific things about the flat: the temperature changes throughout the day/evening and you are not allowed to change the thermostat; there isn't a fan in the bedroom and the only window opens up to the front door entrance and cannot be kept open during the night; be careful of the bath tub as it slopes a bit when you step in and can be quite slippery; the furniture is completely different than the photos and that is mentioned - couch is a bit uncomfortable. Besides some very minor details, the place is worth renting for two people enjoying any occasion in the city.
Just a quick update to guests that there are other windows in the apartment that do open. There is an entire wall of windows (5 of them) that open - I guess this guest didn't figure out how to open them. The windows are a flight and a half above ground level so it's not a problem to keep them open during the night.
We ask that the thermostat not be changed as the apartment is heated with radiant floor heating and is set to go on and off throughout the day. However, any guest is more than welcome to call, email or text us at anytime if they have requests. We would have happily brought a fan or helped with the thermostat but the guest didn't reach out to us to let us know they were hot.
We were having an unusually warm week that week (San Francisco is usually much more mild) so we would have happily reset the radiant floors so the guests were more comfortable.
