Description
A charming Victorian seafront cottage in the village of Sandgate. Albion Cottage is a terraced house right on the seafront with great views over the channel. Accommodation is over 3 floors with four good size bedrooms. There are three bathrooms - two with a shower and one with a bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher and there is a utility area with a washing machine. The living room opens on to a private seafront patio and has a wood burning stove and flat screen tv. The dining room seats 8 comfortably and also contains a music system.
Free visitors' parking is available in the controlled parking zone
We have our own unlimited broadband, suitable for business or pleasure.
The front two bedrooms have double beds and great views over the channel.
The top floor back bedroom has two single beds and an additional two fold up beds. The first floor room at the back has two single beds. (Can sleep 10 in total)
The house is in the village of Sandgate which has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and convenience shops. The nearest supermarket is just up the road in Cheriton, or if you don't have a car Hythe and Folkestone are each about 10 minutes away by bus. Both Hythe and Folkestone have a full range of shops.
We have in the past hosted channel swimming teams and the house is very suitable as a base for these challenges.

“Albion Cottage, Sandgate”
Lovely quirky cottage in fab location right next to sea, restaurants and village shops. Spread over 3 floors the house accommodated 5 adults and 4 kids with ease giving us all space to socialise together or separate off. Very relaxed and accommodating owners were super helpful with late check out when one of our party was ill. Would recommend this place to anyone.
