The Roatan Ocean View Beach House—with its 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 2 sprawling balconies—is made for creative travelers, families in search of outside-the-box adventures, and divers eager to explore some of the dreamiest underwater spots in the world.
This beach house, tucked between coconut palms, is located in Sandy Bay between Coxen Hole and West End, just a short drive or taxi ride from bustling West Bay. Live like a local in an authentic Roatan beach house at the edge of the sea!
ACCOMMODATIONS FOR UP TO 8 GUESTS
NOTE: This listing is for the top level of the beach house, which is entirely separate from the bottom level (check out the bottom level by searching 760380 here on FlipKey). If you're traveling with a group of 8 or more, both floors can be rented for one low rate—offering togetherness AND privacy. The only spaces the two levels share are the beach and the huge oceanfront gazebo perched at the brink of the Caribbean. Contact us to ask about your options!
If you choose the top level for your Roatan vacation, you'll be blessed with treetop views of the mountains (at the back) and beach (at the front). Hammocks on two giant balconies wait to cradle you in tropical comfort for long, lazy afternoons. No one shares these balconies with you—they're all yours!
SWIMMING ACCESS TO A GORGEOUS REEF
Walk/wade into the water through a patch of dense sea grass, then swim straight to renowned Spooky Channel Reef, where some of nature's most unique creatures, like parrotfish and crab, swim against a Technicolor backdrop of the coral reef.
You don't have to be a certified professional to see it—you can snorkel or just swim at Spooky Reef, as well!
Boats often ferry tourists here from Roatan resorts so they can dive and observe Spooky Channel's dreamlike beauty. But if you stay with us, there's no need to pay the charter fee… Spooky Channel is right in your backyard.
Families also love the private beach, where they can introduce little ones to the gentle Caribbean and play in the sand. After spending time in the warm sun, pluck a juicy fresh mango from the mango trees… as I did as child growing up here in this very spot! (My great-grandparents owned and farmed this property, and it remains in the family after generations.)
Inside, you will find nearly everything you have at home, from kitchen utensils to towels to wireless Internet access. A cool tropical breeze blows off the Caribbean through the open windows, making A/C unnecessary at night. If you love your A/C, though, don't worry—every bedroom has it! The Master bedroom also boasts its own en-suite bathroom.
Hardwood floors and a tiled kitchen welcome your bare feet.

We stayed in this house for 2 weeks in February.. It felt very safe as you could lock the door at the bottom of the stairs when you went out and came in. There were also decrorative bars on the windows. This is very common in Roatan.
You could sit out in the small deck at the top of the stairs to get the morning sun. Loved the huge balcony that had a couch, 2 chairs and a table. There were lots of clothes ropes and clothes pegs to hang up your laundry when you did a hand washing or used the large washing machine.
The kitchen was very well equiped. In fact there were the best pots that I have ever seen in a rental place..
The TV was larger than shown in the pictures. . It had lots of channels including City TV from Toronto..
There was a small restaurant called El Paso a few minutes walk down the beach next to the International School. It was family run and had excellent food and prices. We went there evey other day.
You could walk to the busier end of Sandy Bay if you cut through Anthony Key Resort..
Olin the Manager will drive you to the grocery stoes in Coxen Hole.or anywhere else. He is very helpful.
Trust that the seaweed has now been cleared away and the new windows put in.
If you like dogs this is the location for you !!!
