we had a wonderful time at this accomodation.jogged through the leafy streets early morning and soaked up the sun in the garden by afternoon if we weren't just going out to the centre or sea front promenade - both near.the house has ample space and stuff you always need on vacation.had a jacuzzi - wow! recommended.

We were in Santa Barbara for an extended stay (3 months). We stayed at the Ramakers home and enjoyed their cozy house. We were able to walk to town and loved walking through some beautiful neighborhoods. The backyard and deck are wonderful and warm with the morning sun. We were able to enjoy breakfast almost every morning and took advantage of the delicious oranges from the tree. The house is a great place to stay if you want to have all the comforts of home.

We spent four nights in this lovely bungalow in Santa Barbara. The colors and textures Shruti and Tim have used to decorate the house are soothing and tasteful and everything was tidy. The front yard looks like a spread from Sunset Magazine and the porch was a perfect perch for afternoon drinks. Our daughter loved sleeping in the extra room in the backyard and the whole family made use of the hot tub and outdoor shower. We were a little disappointed initially about how far the bungalow seemed to be from State Street but quickly got over that after easily walking downtown. There's a city shuttle that runs right in front of the house if you're too tired to walk home with all of your State Street shopping. There's also a grocery store, hardware and liquor store nearby for last minute necessities. We rode our bikes to the beach one day which was fine for my husband and me but it was a bit tiring for our 8 and 11 year old to do the entire round trip. We were pleasantly surprised to find out it was La Fiesta, a four-day celebration of Old Santa Barbara, and had a great time watching the dancing, mariachis, parade and sampling all of the Mexican Fare. We also happened to be there on the 1st Thursday of the month when museums are open at night for free. We visited the beautiful Santa Barbara Museum of art and did a family art project. Having a grill in the backyard was so handy that we only ended up eating dinner out once - though there are plenty of great looking places to eat. There was so much to see and do, we hardly had time to relax! But what a wonderful dilemma to have.

A lovely 2 Bedroom home, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants, shopping and beach
turned out to be a get-away paradise. Helpful owners,
who helped with recommendations and were kind and
courteous made my stay comfortable. The home has great amenities, large yard with fruit trees, and comfy 2 bedrooms. Designer kitchen, with state of the art appliances make for a cozy stay. I look forward to returning to this secret hideaway.
