This hacienda has all the old world character and charm that has made "Santa Fe style" world-renowned. Enter through your wooded gate to a covered portal were you can enjoy the front yard. Authentic southwest and antique furnishings complement the details of the 100-year-old adobe home. Remodeled recently with the integrity of the traditions of the region in mind. Saltillo tile and hard wood floors, viga beamed tall ceilings, hand done tin work and a grand Kiva fireplace. One of the towns more historic residential neighborhoods, you will be staying in what is called the Guadalupe or rail yard District. I call this area the new Soho of Santa Fe. Only a 17 minute walk to the Plaza and a couple of blocks away from the newly developed and exciting rail yard district, were you will find contemporary art work, museums and galleries, farmers market, a flea market, bike trails and fantastic restaurants. When you want to take a break from eating out enjoy a barbecue with family and friends in your gorgeous private backyard.
Mature landscaping of native plants of the region, will delight you with color all year round. A formal dining room off of your full kitchen will seat all comfortably. We stayed here for several glorious sunshine filled days. Our party consisted of my wife and I, my sister and her husband, and our parents who are in their mid eighties. We were very close to the Plaza and the Railyard and we typically would roam around with Mom and Dad till about 2:00 PM, when they were more than happy to return to this wonderful adobe hacienda. They enjoyed relaxing in the house or on the beautiful porch. All couples remarked about the comfort of the beds. The kitchen was great and well appointed. All in all, it was a tremendous trip made possible by this wonderful property in a very quiet neighborhood. In fact, my parents want to stay here again over Thanksgiving!

Quaint adobe home. Indoor and outdoor spaces adequate and private. Easy to keep 3 couples and a single adult here with close proximity to cooking ingredients and restaurants. Easy walk to the Plaza and Basilica. Easy access to sights north of town by car. We would stay here again if available.
