This 2,300 square foot turn-of-the-century pueblo style house was built in the 1930s, one of the first homes built in the SE hills. The main house is a 3 bedroom / 2 bath pueblo style, fully-furnished, adobe home on 4.5 acres in the high desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico, a serene rural setting that offers the convenience of being only 7 miles from the historic plaza.

The property is located on a secluded road in the foothills southeast of Santa Fe. Surrounding the main house you will find a play fort for children, vegetable gardens, and a beautiful walk in the arroyo, which is shaded by cottonwood and ponderosa pine trees.

The homestead was the first in this neighborhood and was built in the early 1930s. It has a beautiful master bedroom, which overlooks the central courtyard, 2 additional large bedrooms, 2 full baths and a warm and inviting great room. It can comfortably accommodate 6 adults and 2 children. A charming enclosed flagstone courtyard – complete with a lush perennial flower garden that attracts hummingbirds all summer long, an adobe chimenea, gas and charcoal grills, and mountain views - is the perfect place to relax.

A hot tub accommodates up to 6 bathers in another secluded courtyard brimming with trumpet vines and sunflowers. Perfect for stargazing or relaxing sore muscles after hiking or skiing on cold winter afternoons or cool summer nights.

Our electricity, including the energy to heat the hot tub, is 100% solar. With your cooperation, we recycle your containers and compost your food waste for use in our gardens and greenhouse.
