Is it your first time in Sicily? I'm sure you'll be enchanted by sunny Sicily, its nature, its sky and sea, its culture, its food and wine, its colors and its scents, its people ... and you'll like to come back a lot of other times.
Sicily ... is SICILY!!!!!
This lovely, tastefully decorated and fully equipped suite is part of Villa Paladino Solunto, an holiday home of exceptional charm and prestige for the peculiarity of its site, by the unique characteristics in the area between Palermo and Cefalù. The little complex stands on a lush hill, emerging on the ridge of the wonderful promontory with the natural Reserve of Monte Catalfano and the Archeological park of Solunto (you see the remains and the Museum of the Phoenician and Greek - Roman town), ending up at the sea with the Rock of the Ant and its natural marine archeological park, between Gulfs of Palermo and Termini. The view of the sea embraces from Palermo to Cefalù until the high chain of Nebrodi and the view over mountains reaches from Mount Pellegrino (Palermo) to the magnificent tops of Madonie (alt. m 2000). the inner mountains of Sicily afyter Etna. You also look at the hills, the rocky promontories and the green valleys of Bagheria where the best Sicilian nobility built the famous eighteenth - century villas.
You can spend here romantic, regenerating and pleasant stays for weeks or weekends in a dreaming and welcoming atmosphere.
You can look at spectacular sunsets on the sea sitting on the benches and deck chairs around the wonderful pool similar to a natural lake in the middle of a large Mediterranean garden. You can also look at the Gulf of Palermo and Monte Pellegrino too ("The most beautiful promontory of the world", said Goethe, the well known German poet who came in Sicily in 19th century) while swimming in the pool (May-October).
Unforgettable 3 hour-boat trips with skipper and fishing in the clear waters along the wonderful coast of Mongerbino and around the Rock of the Ant, home of dolphins, can be arranged not only in summer.
You can rent a (small) boat.
You can also have a 1day boat trip up to the Aeolian Islands, Panarea and Stromboli (in my opinion the most beautiful of the 7 Eolian Islands) or Lipari and Vulcano.
You can also have a romantic / group dinner on the boat.
400 meters away from the Villa (5- 10 minutes by feet). you may visit the touristic village of Santa Flavia and the fishing villages of Porticello and S.Elia, full of shops, bar, restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste delicious Sicilian dishes.
Approximately 1 Km. after S.Elia, driving along the quite panoramic coastal road, that flows around the Natural Reserve of Monte Catalfano, you’ll get the seafaring village of Aspra and the promontory of Mongerbino with its breath-taking views on the Gulf of Palermo and Monte Pellegrino.
It is also a strategic point to easily go sightseeing Palermo, Monreale, Cefalù, Caccamo, Agrigento, Mozia, Erice, the Natural Reserve of Zingaro, the National Natural Madonie Park and many other places of great tourist interest.
The distance from sea (beaches sandy or pebbles) is only mt 1000.
It is very near to Palermo (Km.10, 30 minutes by car and 20 by train).
The distance from the Aeroport of Palermo (Punta Raisi) is about km. 20 by motorroad
In 30 minutes by car you can easily reach Palermo and visit its precious monuments, its old town, the largest in Europe, where lie the spectacular markets, rich and fragrant, its museums and its major theaters. Don't forget to visit the well known beach resort of Mondello and the town of Monreale, with its Cathedral, the most beautiful and important in the world. At the same time you can easily get the famous medieval town of Cefalù, with its fantastic beach and the Arab-Norman Cathedral, or the enchanting Castle of Caccamo. Lastly, in less than one hour, you can visit the spectacular Madonie National Natural Park (mt.2000 level sea), a paradise of rare plants and protected animal species
The train Station of Santa Flavia allows you to easily go sightseeing Palermo or Cefalù.

I'm sorry you didn.t find easy the entrance to my villa. Usually, people haven't any problem with the road and the couch. They love the entrance among the lemon and orange trees because they breathe in deeply the typical Sicilian fragrances and enjoy the Sicilian colors. They love the cozy and tasteful decor too.
