Do you want to enjoy 80 - 90 degrees all year round and holiday in a luxuriously appointed apartment, fully air-conditioned, secure, and overlooking adult pool, children's pool and playground? PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE SWIMMING POOLS ARE CURRENTLY NOT IN USE AT THE APARTMENT. Beautifully appointed with wide open public areas. Lift access to apartment and whole resort built for ease of pushchair and wheelchair users. Lounge includes two three seater sofas and armchair, Satellite TV (limited channels but includes movie channels, Fox, Discovery, and many more), DVD player with large selection of DVDs, books, jigsaws, games, washing machine, full size fridge freezer, 4 seater dining table in dining area plus further 4 seater dining suite on the balcony, safe, three foot twin beds with comfortable climate controlled mattresses (can be removed to reveal a firmer mattress beneath), maid service before and after stay (mid stay on request), bathroom with shower over bath. Fully equiped for short and long stay guests - we have tried to make it your home from home.

On site supermarket with wonderful freshly baked bread daily and free shuttle bus or a leisurely walk into Santa Maria with it's many restaurants, bars and shops. Sal is NOT commercialised though so there are no Pizza Huts or McDonalds here although we do now have an onsite pizza parlour serving eat-in or take out freshly prepared pizza. In Santa Maria, enjoy fabulous, freshly prepared food. As well as running to Santa Maria and back, the free shuttle bus also goes to Ponta Preta beach, a quiet beach out of town, and also Espargos, the main town on the island.

Reception and guest services is located opposite the apartment to assist you with any queries or problems, arrange taxis, car hire, bike hire, cot and high chair hire (please bring your own bedding for cots), trips and excursions, travel to neighbouring islands. Taxi's into Santa Maria cost around 3 Euros (5 Euros late night). Tennis courts are situated opposite the apartment for those keen on keeping active. Free WIFI around some pools, in public areas and in many bars and restaurants in Vila Verde and Santa Maria. A newly opened golf course is available opposite Vila Verde resort.

You will be met at the airport by our representative and brought the apartment. You will need to pay the taxi driver, no more than 15 euros. On arrival at Vila Verde you will be taken to the apartment and a free basic welcome food pack will await you so you can have a nice cuppa whilst you get unpacked! Our representatives are available to assist with anything you need during your stay. .

Getting around

Santa Maria is flat with good pavements and well lit so walking is easy. Bicycles are in abundance and cheap to hire, taxis are readily available, and of course you have the free shuttle bus, please see the timetable either in the apartment or at reception as the times of pick up change throughout the year. The shuttle bus takes you to Santa Maria and Espargos, a town inhabited by locals mainly and situated at the top of the island.

Covid 19 Update: As the World copes with the pandemic, unfortunately the Cape Verde islands have also been impacted. The country was placed in lockdown with all ports and airports closed to contain the virus. The lockdown has now been lifted but some restaurants are operating at reduced hours, social distancing measures are in place, and currently the wearing of face masks in public places is required. Our apartment is deep cleaned between each changeover of guests and we have minimised unnecessary contact by you being met from the taxi by Lizy or Stuart, our agents, there will be no need to go to reception to collect or return keys.

“Perfect holiday in an excellent apartment!”

From start to finish was a perfect holiday! Jeanette couldn't have been more helpful answering any queries very promptly prior to our holiday and provided us with excellent information. On arrival we were met at the airport and taken to the apartment where we were then met by Lizy who was so friendly and helpful. She showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment and was always on hand for any queries. The apartment was fantastically furnished and spotless, with everything we could have possibly needed. Beautiful pool, plenty of sun beds with a pool bar. Regular shuttle bus into Santa Maria where there are beautiful beaches and plenty of good restaurants and ice cream parlour! Also plenty of taxis available to take you into town. I was there with my daughter and felt perfectly safe day and night exploring the town, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to return to the beautiful apartment and island!

La piscina ha reabierto en Lantana y el bar de la piscina y wifi gratis son inminentes para que coincida con Cactus otro lado del camino, más el servicio de autobús, el gimnasio y el nuevo restaurantes del hotel son inminentes. Compañías de vacaciones están empezando a llegar a partir de octubre para la temporada de invierno y por lo que esperamos Vila Verde será mucho más ocupado para entonces! Nos encantaría darle la bienvenida a quedarse con nosotros en el futuro.

How do damage deposits work?
