This wine country home offers the visitor the unique experience of staying in and among vineyards, in a beautiful estate-like home.
Our guests will be impressed with the privacy of the home as they approach via a driveway through vineyards. There is a circular turnaround area for convenience, or parking at the side of the home.
Large double doors mark the entry, and hardwood floors are throughout the downstairs part of the home. The formal living room, with two oversized soft sofas, fireplace, wingbacked charis, game table and armoir set the mood to the left of the entry.
To the right is the office/library with sleeper sofa and 1/2 bath just across the hall for convenience.
Continuing through the entry you come to the family room and kitchen area. A large sectional sofa and wood burning stove are set amidst French doors looking out to the vineyards beyond.
Just off the family room there is a large gourmet kitchen with island, gas range top, large side by side refrigerator, dishwasher and all small appliances for our guests including blender, coffee maker and toaster. There is also a small dining area or breakfast nook just off the kitchen that looks to the vineyards for your easing into the day with your first cup of coffee.
Continuing left through the kitchen you come to the formal dining room. This is a grand room with large heavy draperies, and wood table. There is ample seating here for all 8 guests to have a formal dinner or catered affair.
Walking upstairs, three bedrooms are individually decorated, each having a queen size bed and full bathroom, and the master furnished with pillow top mattress, and a large master bathroom that has a sunken jacuzzi tub, separate shower and double sink area.
Olivet Ranch is furnished beautifully and tastefully fitting it's estate like qualities, and gives each two guests a private sleeping area and bathroom. SCP# 387TripAdvisor property ID 2372001...Read more

We enjoyed our stay in the Olivet vineyards home very much. We were 5 adults and 2 children, and the house was plenty big enough for all of us. The location is nice for bicycling around the area, and for walking or biking to nearby wineries for tasting. The manager was responsive on all of our questions, and the house was clean and well appointed, the hot tub worked great. I would definitely recommend it for a group of our size.

We stayed here after Christmas until New Years Eve with my parents, and sister's family. In all there were 6 adults and 3 kids (ages 11 - 3). This house accommodated everyone and their activities very well, and the open kitchen and living area downstairs was perfect. It was great to have the sun rise into the kitchen every morning over the vineyards - what a beautiful view. The kitchen was well appointed and generally, as was the house generally. The location is perfect too, within walking distance of several great wineries, and quick driving distance to many more. It's also just a few miles from the grocery store, so stocking up doesn't take long at all. A few things could be done to make it even better. For example, the tv only has basic cable, and dvds only played in black and white. While there was a great selection of books, there was not a single game - no Checkers, Scrabble, Monopoly or Life, which was a dissapointment.

My friends and I rented the Olivet Vineyards estate because we were scheduled to run the Healdsburg Half Marathon. The location was great and the house was comfortable for the group of eight on this trip. After the race we walked to wineries nearby, cooked, spent time in the hot tub and went to bed early. The house was quietly located off of the street and all of the guests enjoyed the scenery around the house.
It was well worth the stay and I hope to stay there again!

This house exceeded our expectations. We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday here with some friends and were blown away by the stunning 360 views of the vineyards, location, and size of this house. The location feels remote but very close to many wonderful wineries (you can walk to Hook and Ladder), the russian river and Santa Rosa. As a Sonoma native, I can truly say that we will stay here again. To address the last review- we did not see any fury friends, and the property management company was just fine to work with. This place is a must see/stay :)
