I did a great deal of searching for the perfect Villa for our family of 10 to spend a week together in the beautiful wine country of California. After looking over the pictures, the description, the reviews, and finally talking to Maureen, I knew I had found it. It was even greater than my expectations. I felt at home the minute I walked in. It was a concern to have 10 adults living together for a week but that dissipated immediately. There was tons of room in the house, where everyone could do as much or as little as they wanted without impeding on anyone else's space. The kitchen was a cooks dream for which we all took a try at creating some delicacy. The beautiful "jungle" pool was warm and inviting, and the gardens of flowers were gorgeous. Kevin and Maureen were the greatest hosts. They were there if needed, otherwise, we would only see them tending to the garden, or not at all. There were fresh flowers in every bedroom and the kitchen/dining area. And the pantry was loaded with spices, condiments and all the little things that are usually forgotten when going to the grocery store. The view was spectacular, especially while sitting on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine. Watch for the deer and the quail running about. Kevin and Maureen give great recommendations if your interested in restaurants, grocery, tours, and even having in-house wine tasting (better than the ones we drove to). We ALL enjoyed every minute of our time spent in the Villa and would definitely return.
“Beautiful mansion with lots of fun for everyone.”

We love this place and would recommend it to anyone visiting Sonoma County! Our family stayed here during our Santa Rosa wedding and everyone enjoyed it. The house has literally everything you need for cooking and enjoying time together. The view from the pool / hot tub is incredible!

I will cut to the chase as many have reviewed this property in the past. It was terrific. We would not look for another place to stay on our next trip. Kevin and Maureen were more accomodating than any 5 star concierge. The home and grounds are amazing.

This is a great house, the photos do not do it justice. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Close enough to all the wine areas, but not to close. We loved the view and the pool/spa. The owners were avaliable for any questions (we could not find the remote, got a response right away) but respected our privacy. We will stay here again!

I have been using Vrbo, FlipKey, etc. for years. Let me tell you I have never stayed at a more beautiful and well appointed home in all my experience. This was a family event with people flying in from all over the us and it was perfect. No one could ask for a more special place to hold any event. Thank you so much for all your hospitality.

We rented the house for 4 nights over Presidents' Day weekend, and we had a great stay. There were 10 in our group, and everyone was extremely comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious (a couple of them tremendously so), and the living rooms and dining room were great and plenty large enough for our entire group to hang out. The flow to the upstairs is very good with the kitchen, living room, dining room, and breakfast nook all open to one another. The outdoor space is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. The owners were extremely nice at every stage, from booking to departure, and we never knew they were there (except for when they graciously dropped off a package that we had delivered to their store). All in all, it was a great 4 days in a fantastic house. We would do it exactly the same way again.
Thank you, Ed! You were a lovely group, welcome back any time! Maureen.

We stayed in November 2011 and found the villa to be exceptional in every way. The owners have thought of almost everything. Of note was the high end house and furnishings, and views. The grounds and pool/spa area would be very nice in warmer weather. Our group of 4 couples fit very nicely.
We used the home as a base for 4 days of wine tasting in the northern part of Sonoma. The location worked very well, but a car is necessary.
We cooked several meals and found the kitchen well stocked. One night we had a local chef (Elijah) prepare dinner, and we paired local wines we had found. It was a highlight of our stay and highly recommended.
Only one minor issue regarding wine glasses. Not bad for a fairly picky group!

This was our second stay at the villa and it was even better than the first, which is saying a lot. The house is extremely spacious and so comfortable for a group of friends or large family (10 is perfect - everyone gets a comfy bed!).
Access to wine country is fantastic, and there's a grocery store nearby, as well as quick freeway access. And all the while you feel like you're in the middle of Europe in the mountains with the most gorgeous views! It's an absolute treat to stay here and I hope we don't have to wait until next year to come back...

We absolutely loved this Villa! We came to Wine Country Villa to relax and celebrate our anniversary. A beautiful home, open floor plan, gorgeous views, and a perfect location in Santa Rosa with easy access to the wineries. The Villa is located in a modern subdivision and backs up to miles of picturesque reserve. The Veranda was the perfect place for us to unwind, have a bottle of wine, and enjoy the breathtaking view. The back yard was amazingly well maintained...it was relaxing just to walk around and look at the flowers. The hot tub was a wonderful place to start our day or end our evening. Kevin and Maureen, the property owners who live in an attached separate studio in the Villa, were extremely attentive to all our needs. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

The Villa is situated in the hills of Santa Rosa.
The Villa is beautiful. It has a lot of european influences.
Every single room has its own charm.
The pool with hot tube and the fantastic rose garden invite to relax.
There are some terraces with stunning views on the city of Santa Rosa. One of the terrace has a nice fireplace.
Staying in that villa is pure relaxing.
The owners Maureen and Kevin are very friendly and helped us, organize a great wine tasting tour.
Thanks to you Maureen and Kevin,!!!
