Additional Location Information

We are situated in the golden triangle of Sarlat, Castelnaud and La Roc Gageac, each 5km away.

We are are also situated in the picturesque "Vallee des Cinq Chateaux" - Marqueyssac, Beynac, Castelnaud and Milandes can all be visited. Chateau Fenelon is privately owned but all 5 Chateauxc contribute to the beauty and majestyof the valley and can be easily viewed from the river (a canoe trip is highly recommended.)

Sarlat is a Unesco World Heritage site and the architecture is unchanged from medieval times.

The gite itself is situated in a quiet hamlet, but very easily accessible to the areas of interest nearby. Often our guests can fit in a full day's sight seeing, come back to relax and change and have a short driveto go out to eat in the 100+ restaurants in the area or simply eat al fresco with a bottle of wine on the terrace.
