We were very pleased with the setting of this property, it was wonderful to wake up to the views of the Tuscan hillide; very tranquil, restfull.
Its setting; although furnishings were somewhat spartan, we thought it was just right for the farmhouse/villa. We liked it's somewhat remote location. Perfect to return to after a hectic day of day-tripping to bigger cities.
Same thing, a little too remote and the fact that we couldn't walk to the town of Sarteano for meals or meandering. Definitely need cars. Please also check the septic system. Sometimes, there was an odor. Otherwise, perfect.
Peaceful, beautiful, tranquil setting. Very quiet at night except for the abundant wildlife which we enjoyed as we're outdoors people.

The property was in an excellent location, it was beautiful and the house was quite spacious. It was very clean and the service each day was wonderful. My family loved the "natural" setting; all the trees and plant life and the "wildlife" and birds constantly singing. Often we would "video" the scenry for its beauty and at times just to capture all the singing birds and wildlife sounds. The furnishings were fine, but it did not feel like Italy, it was too "Danish" for the setting. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. We thank them all!
