We spent one week at the cottage, we truly enjoyed our week. I appreciated how clean the cottage was. I especially enjoyed the view we had of the river, I guess that was the highlight of the cottage for us, sitting by the river, enjoying nature. Because of the week we came, being that we were practically the only ones there, we enjoyed our privacy, although a few times we received phone calls from individuals asking for the owners we believe. There was a significant sulfur smell to the tap water. But other than that, we are considering returning. T

Lovely spot on the river, relaxing, clean , well maintained property. The wildlife is perfect touch , having a morning tea/coffee on the dock was perfect.
Just wish it wasn't so expensive, would love to book two weeks next year,... didn't want to go home

I booked this cottage on line -- very easy process;we found the cottage clean and easy to settle into. I had 4 kids ages 8-13 + an older teen helper. We spent most of the week at the beach at Sauble and enjoyed perfect beach weather. Cottage was great to come back to for bbq and campfires. Morning canoeing on the river was also fun -- no luck with the fishing though!
“Great cottage very relaxing getaway with our dog and lots to do”

We loved our time at this cottage and were very plesed with our stay there.

The cottage was great. Great location, spacious, clean. We loved the river. The use of the canoe and paddle boat was an added bonus and put to good use due to the cold weather and bacteria in the water (so no swimming or going to the beach).

The whole family had a great time. We had a young child and a teenager and they both had a great time. It was far enough from Sauble beach to be secluded and only a short drive away if we wanted to shop or go to the beach. The cottage was clean and offered everything we needed for an enjoyable experience. The large windows looking onto the water was what had initially caught my eye on the website and I was not disapointed when we arrived. The water was shallow and not suitable for swimming but it was ideal for canoeing and the paddle boat. Sauble falls are really close and we walked or paddled to them every day. We will be coming back for sure.

very peaceful setting...everything it was promised to be...nice accomodations. Two maintenance issues need attention, however: 1. faulty electrical contact in well pressure relay, left us no water to flush toilet or bathe, from sunday evening to mid-monday ( hauling buckets of water from the river ,approx. 200m round trip, was not my idea of one of the recreational ammenities to be enjoyed). the caretaker/maintence man arrived shortly after receiving our s.o.s., and resolved the problem by brushing off the contacts and spraying with lubricant. 2. we, nor the maintenance man could not find a way to turn on half of the overhead lighting in the kitchen-living area. These problems, however, we feel were just minor gliches in ,what proved to be a very enjoyable experience, over-all. We give the bluebird a "thumbs-up", and hope to return next year! Thank you all.

Nicely decorated, fully updated lovely cottage on the river, very close to town or the falls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to couples, families or friends. Transactions and instructions were easy to follow and this place exceeded our expectations. We would stay again.

The pictures don't do it justice! My girlfriend and I were very pleased with the cottage, enough room to fit at least 5 comfortably, also the beach is a lot closer than the description says, there is also a drive in about 30 minutes south of the cottage in Owen Sound. I'm booking this cottage again next year! Just wonderful!
