The Historic Victorian Home was built in 1888. When you stay in the home you will feel like you stepped back in time yet have all the modern conveniences of today. We are located in the Historic District within walking distance to everything. Parking is on the street (we do not have meters where we are located). It is readily available and free.
The HUNTINGDON ROOM
Experience the Huntingdon Room… a junior suite offering a queen-size, 4-poster, canopy bed and a sitting alcove in the ‘turret’ component of the building. A romantic working gas fireplace to set the mood. This room is very popular with our guests. You will be taken back in time as you are surrounded in period antiques. Pamper yourself in the Huntingdon Bath… a large, private bathroom with claw foot “slipper” tub and shower combination.
Included in the rate is a Breakfast basket filled with muffins, pastries, fruits, and snack items. The basket is in your room upon arrival. You can enjoy the goodies whenever you like!
Guests are also treated to complementary afternoon sweets, coffee and hot tea as well as Cindy's sweet peach tea all day long.

The Veranda, Parlor, Kitchen and Dining Room
The Kitchen is available for all guest to use. We have a Keurig coffee maker for the convenience of our guests along with complimentary coffee and tea. Peach tea ( kept nice and cold in the Kitchen refrigerator) is available all day long.
Sit outside on the font Veranda in the morning to savor a hot cup of coffee or enjoy a quiet moment by the dipping pool.
The Parlor has Victorian seating and is large and spacious.
The Courtyard is a place to relax. Complete with flower gardens, cherub fountain and ‘dipping pool'. The dipping pool is the perfect place to sit and sip your favorite beverage as you are cooling off from the heat of the day. This area is a fun place for family and friends to gather. We have a grill available for your use.
THE AREA is a must to stay when you visit Savannah. You will want to stroll a different street every time you make your way towards the river. We are located only a few blocks from Forsyth Park. The location is what you would expect and hope to find in an Southern town. Slow paced, quiet and peaceful with it's Live Oak moss covered trees lining the streets. Only 8/10 ths of a mile to the River(one of the tourist areas). You will not want to miss out on what Savannah is known for - The Squares,the architecture and of course, Forsyth park . You may want to pack a picnic basket and rest under the shade of the Parks trees or pick a bench overlooking the famous fountain. Savannah is considered the #1 walking city. You will find a cute café or boutique on every street corner. After shopping head back to your home getaway and recline on the veranda and watch the people walk by.

Joe and Cindy love living in Savannah.. We have a little dog GIGI and Jangle our rescued cat. Jangle and GiGi have access to the courtyard.. You may see them coming and going however you will never see them in the house. For the comfort of those with allergies we keep the rental part of the home pet free. We enjoy meeting guests from all over the world. We pride ourselves in making each guest feel at home while creating a memorable stay. We hope you will choose to stay with us.
