Forget about driving when you stay in this condo at the heart of the Historic District. Best location for a walking lifestyle vacation. This unit faces the lane side of the building so despite being at the center of the commercial area it is much quieter than a unit facing Broughton Street. The lowest possible weekday rate may be advertised on this site (you will see "from" or "starting at" and then a nightly rate), but there is also a standard weekend rate published for each property. Keep in mind 13% tax is legally required for Savannah vacation rentals and each property also has a set departure cleaning fee which goes straight to the maid. If you book online, a security deposit may be included as well (this deposit is held by TripAdvisor/FlipKey and would show up clearly as a line item). Events will be higher than the standard rate and discounts may be applied to weekdays or slow seasons.
Stroll out the door to restaurants, bars, boutiques and museums all literally a stone's throw from this circa 1849 historic building. Many visitors are hoping to stay in an authentic historical area. This is an ideal choice! Modern conveniences abound- from a gourmetl kitchen and laundry machines in the unit to Starbucks steps away- but the Historic District and all its charms are essentially centered at this 160 year old address!
This condo is above Banana Republic and across the street from GAP as well as local boutiques like Terra Cotta and Copper Penny in case you didn't pack for the Savannah weather. Dozens of fine dining (Alligator Soul), casual restaurants (Roly Poly and Goosefeathers as well as Panera and McDonalds) and stylish bars (Jazz'd) and pubs (Moon River and World of Beer) are within a 2 block radius of this address.

There is also one Twin rollaway bed and one convertible leather chair that becomes a Twin bed. This unit is most comfortable for 8 adults but we allow up to 10.
Parking: A garage pass for one vehicle is available with this rental!
If you have additional vehicles with you on your vacation you can either park in the same nearby city garage or get a guest pass from parking services (or the visitor's center) to park all day/night at metered street spots.
If you don't have vehicle you will be thrilled with your location.
What is provided:

-Linens are provided
-Towels are provided for each of the 2 bathrooms.
-Hotel size soap in bathrooms
-There is one hair dryer in the unit
-There is an iron and ironing board
What is not provided:
-Beach towels. Please bring your own towels if you plan to visit the beach.
- Laundry products (dryer sheets, spray starch, etc). We do frequently leave detergent in the unit and you are welcome to use what you find there but we do not officially provide detergent

Barely one block from River Street! This is where 99% of the guests who call me want to be!!! If you prefer a quieter more residential part of Savannah's Historic District please call me as I have something for everyone.
Spacious and peaceful condo in the best location imaginable. Sleeps 8-10! One tenth of a mile to River Street. Steps to bars, restaurants and museums. You cannot get a better address than this. Above Banana Republic in and 1849 building on the corner of Broughton Street and Barnard Street! Between Telfair Square and beautiful Ellis Square a block from Andaz Hotel and City Market, and across Telfair Square from the Jepson Center and Telfair Academy museums. Just 2 blocks from The Lady and Sons (Paula Deen) Restaurant and River Street. This is IT in terms of where to be/stay/go in Downtown Savannah.

Our family of six adults stayed at this fabulous condo to explore Savannah in the summertime. It is ideally located in the heart of the historic district - literally a 2 minute walk from River Street and surrounded by great restaurants, bars and shopping. The condo is super spacious and has a grand living room perfect for hanging out, watching the game, or enjoying a home cooked meal. The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the condo was outfitted with anything we could possibly need. Finally, we loved how the contemporary interior design paired so beautifully with historic elements of the building's architecture. All around, we had an incredible and memorable vacation and would recommend this great condo to anyone. We'll definitely be coming back!
