The villa includes a former winery and three small stone buildings, topped by sensuous white domes, and clustered around an internal piazza. This villa features seven bedrooms, five baths, one large kitchen, and several terraces and patio-gardens, and it can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests.

Additional Location Information

Formerly a Phoenician, Greek, Roman, Norman, Arabic and Spanish colony, Pantelleria Island is now Italian, and home to almost ten thousand people grouped in three main villages. The island is egg-shaped with a central 2,400 foot-high mountain offering views, on the clearest days, of both Italy and the African coast. The mountain towers over a lake, nestled in the crater of a former volcano.
Pantelleria is magical and primitive with 52 sleepy volcanoes and several active geysers and hot springs, surrounded by a rocky black coast fragmented into thousands of coves, grottos and blackstone beaches. Its interior landscape features surreal sequences of black oxydian rocks and fertile green valleys dotted by minimalist stone structures and Arabic gardens. The landscape is powerfully structured into a continuum of terraces alternating stripes of grape and caper fields bordered by massive stone retaining walls. Ultimately, Pantelleria is a showcase of both land art, sculpted by the winds and the sea, and man-made vernacular architecture.
Due to the constant winds which effectively condition the African heat, the island's climate is mild even in the middle of summer, while the sea is uncompromisingly clean. The best months to visit are May to October.
Pantelleria is well connected to Italy by air and sea transport and, often, there are additional non-stop flights from Milan and Rome, as well as hydrofoil service from Sicily and Tunisia.
The Sea Ranch is part of a small settlement that includes a restaurant, a scuba diving school, and a few former fishermen's wharehouses converted into residential accommodations.
Basic shops and facilities are located in the villages of Tracino and Khamma, less than a mile away, while the harbour town of Pantelleria is about 9 miles away.
