If that isn't enough, about 15 minutes south you will experience the Kierland with high-end shopping and entertainment. Going another 15 minutes south takes you to The Fashion Mall and Old Scottsdale with its abundance of art walks and eclectic experiences.
If you chose to go in the other direction, 8 minutes north takes you to Carefree and Cave Creek, communities known for their multimillion dollar retirement homes as well as shopping, dining, fairs and exhibitions.
What to expect when you arrive:
• Immaculately clean house
• 600-thread-count linen for that super silky feel
• 16 extra-fluffy terrycloth towels - you don't have to use them all, but you may

We stayed a whole month in Casa Hopi and then we came back to work, to the cold, to Germany. I wanted to write a review, but the hasty pace of life made me forgot, again and again. Yet, in the middle of the winter, coming from nowhere, our thoughs travelled again and again to casa hopi and we realized how (painfully) unforgettable our month was. It is a very, very spacious home, with perfect equipment (we brought back some ideas about must-haves for our kitchen) and delightful ambience. Hakan and Kay assisted us per E-mail when we needed, but everything was perfectly organized. The location of the house was perfect: near by many splendid hiking tours, only 30 minutes from downtown Tempe (where I had to work somedays) and outside of Scottsdale more urbanized areas. We wonder when our schedules will allow us to come back. It certainly was an option worth of the price.

We spent the whole of March at Casa Hopi and were joined by our son and his young family for one week whilst there. The property is exactly as the website portrays, modern ,very clean and with all the amenities which you hope for and are delighted to experience.
It is situated at the end of a cul de sac overlooking a desert landscape with regular views of the indigenous wildlife from the pool and patio area.
It is far enough away (approx.15 minutes) to enjoy the local landscape without being isolated and is only a few minutes away from excellent grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and golf courses.
We would certainly recommend it for young and old alike and very much hope to return.
Thank you for the very kind words! We are very happy Casa Hopi was the right place for your vacation in the Sonoran desert. We also appreciate the open communication during your stay and the fact that you took such great care of our home. We hope to see you back soon again!

The pool is fantastic, perfect desert view, desert garden, which gives a real feeling of a luxury oasis. All amenities are very close, perfect infrastructure, Freeway 101 is only 12 KM away. The service we received was amazing! From making our reservations to arriving at Casa Hopi, Hakan and Kay were very helpful and made it very easy. Casa Hopi is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The house interior has the arizona touch in every room, it is beautifully decorated from top to bottom, a must see. My favorite spot to sit and read was in the TV room in a very comfortable and funky chair. The back yard is a beautiful place to soak up the sun, eat breakfast/dinner, lounge in the pool or just enjoy the beautiful garden. The house inside and out is a true Oasis!

Our family group of 4 had the pleasure of staying at Casa Hopi the first week in June. From the minute we walked in the door we were wowed! Everything was beautiful, warm, and inviting. The pictures cannot totally portray the wonderful ambiance and cheerful atmosphere of this gorgeous, tastefully furnished home. We loved everything about our stay! The comfortable layout, very spacious master suite with a second access to the pool, sumptuous bedding and towels, meticulously kept furnishings, high end appliances in the kitchen along with every possible gadget any chef could want, fantastic heated pool, and perfect desert views made us feel like we were living in the lap of luxury all week. The owners Kay and Hakan could not have been nicer and more accommodating to work with, and it was obvious that they take great pleasure in sharing this home with their guests. We felt like we were in our own private luxury resort, but better because it was serene and peaceful without all the people! The location is perfect, as it's close to shopping and restaurants, yet far enough north to have the true dessert feel in the landscape with many walking and climbing trails near by. We especially enjoyed the refreshing pool out back every day, and we couldn't say enough about how much we loved the Sonos music system throughout the house. This rental home and its owners are true gems in the Sonoran Desert! We can't wait to return!
Kay and I are so happy your whole family had the opportunity to experience Scottsdale and that our house was a key contributor to your wonderful stay. Many thanks for the kind words and please feel free to share your wonderful pictures here at FlipKey/TripAdvisor or at the CasaHopi page at Facebook.
Kay and I hope to see you back in Scottsdale soon!

I as well as my girlfriend Sheri had the pleasure of staying here for the week of May 4th-11th for my 50th Birthday. This home sets the bar for Vacation Rental Homes, with its picturesque setting, private back garden with pool and it's beautifully decorated interior. I don't even know where to begin. Our stay at Casa Hopi was everything we had hoped it would be! The warm hospitality that Kay and Hakan demonstrated was felt as soon as we entered the home! They truly care about their guests and are genuinely excited for you when you visit. The home is amazing, spacious, relaxing and meticulously kept. Not to mention equipped with everything and anything you could possibly need. The amenities were wonderful. Wow...we felt so pampered! The backyard is spectacular and the pool was so inviting. We felt as if we were at our own private resort. The only thing missing was our very own butler. My husband was like a kid in a candy store when he opened the grill to find that it was brand new. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! Thank you Kay and Hakan for sharing your beautiful home with us and especially for going above and beyond to make us feel at home!!! We hope to visit again soon! Best always,

My Fiancé and I recently had an extended stay in Scottsdale for business. After reviewing our options between stay staying at a resort or renting a home, we decided to rent a home. This was by far the best decision we made. Not only was the property was in our price range but it had all the comforts and privacy of our home but the quality of staying at five star resort.
The home offered many things we would not expect out of a seasonal rental. The kitchen featured a gourmet chef's Viking appliances. It allowed us the ease of cooking and entertaining at the level we are accustom to in our own home. The bedrooms were very spacious and there was a heated floor in the master bathroom! The pool was perfect for a morning swim or great place to relax in during the evenings from the heat.
The weather in early autumn was amazing and perfect for outdoor Bbqs. As an additional surprise, at dusk in the nearby Saguaro trees owls came out glided across the desert sky. It was majestic sight for us and our guests as we dined outdoors.
Overall, our experience was amazing! The owners we very easy to do business with, they very much cared about our experience and our enjoyment of their home. We couldn't ask for nicer or more gracious people to rent from. The property was very centrally located for our needs. It was minutes to Phoenix, close to nearby golf courses and shopping centers. The neighborhood was quiet and the home had amazing desert views. We look forward to our next trip to Scottsdale and would highly recommend this property to others.

My husband and I, with our two best friends, stayed at Kay and Hakan's beautiful home for a week in January. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Scottsdale and staying in such a light, bright and clean house made the experience perfect. With mornings dropping down into freezing temperatures it was quite amazing waking up and walking on a warm floor. I am hooked. We are already looking forward to coming back in just a few months as my husband is attending a conference at Kierland in april. Kay and Hakan made our stay really smooth and enjoyable and we recommend their house to anyone looking to rent a modern, spacious private home in North Scottsdale.
