We recently stayed at 10 Battery Road and absolutely loved the house!! We stayed with another family and there was plenty of room. It was equipped with everything we needed and only a short ride to the beach on bikes. We loved the Sea Pines community, we biked all over during our stay there. The neighbors next door live there pretty much year round and were so welcoming to us :) Cannot wait to plan another vacation here :) The only complaint we had is that the grill is not in the best working order. Other than that it was perfect :)

This was a great house for us - a family with two grown children and friends. Lots of living space allowed for various activities. Lots of closets, ample bathrooms. The bedrooms are removed - all on one side of the house - so that it was quiet there. The pool was great for cooling down in the heat. It is mostly shaded, only fully in the sun at mid day. There was a lack of chairs outside, only three at the table. It is a walk to the beach but we wanted the exercise, so we did not find that a disadvantage. If you want to take much with you though, drive or get a cart. House is close to the ample Sea Pines bike trails which we used extensively.

This home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, with easy to access the beach, South Beach, and Harbortown by bike. We especially enjoyed the three nice bathrooms and three sitting areas. The major downside is the extremely shady pool area. Some selective trimming of trees would go a long way in improving this property. Almost nightly visits to the pool area by two racoons who refused to be scared off were offputting and resulted in us not using that area after dusk.
“Decent House with character but limited amenities.”

Bed sheets not clean, found dog hair at foot of bed on sheets. The blender wasn't in working order (no biggie). Had some rain leak in on my mother in law thru window in rm with dbl beds.
House is just kind of funny, Large master bdr with no tub. Other bdrms are small with two full baths (but just 1 tub) between them one of which has the laundry room behind it?. Alley kithen with nice tv\breakfast area but no "Dining Room" - too cramped for everyone to eat together. Nice Den but not enough seating for all. Nice Living room but No Tv, and seems to be more for looks than comfort. Pool is nice but,(knew the but was coming) it is very small and not very private, and when we arrived the pool was very cold, which I liked but the smaller kids wound up shivering after awhile. Decent house for the money. Better and more private than a condo in my opinion. Too far to walk to the beach, just dropped family off with the car at the beach came back and rode my bike to meet them, no problem. And good exercise.

Great place. Pool was great. It is in the shade which felt good on the high 90's days. Plenty to keep the kids busy and wide selection of restaurants. Most prices reasonable.
Recommend renting bikes. Short ride to the beach. Everything about Sea Pines was fantatstic. Got a great last minute deal and the Beach Properties service was great!

Loved our experience with Beach Property from the first phone call to check-out! For over 20 years we used another rental agency when booking our yearly stay on Hilton Head Island. We tried Beach Property last year and the experience was so great that we gave them another try this spring! A new tradition has started for my husband and I when it comes to booking our stay on the island. Beach Property is a winner!

We loved the house - There was plenty of room for 7 people and the plus was that there was a separate bathroom for each bedroom. The only drawback is that the pool area did not get enough sunlight. They need to trim the trees.
“Great place less neighbors who don't care for renters”

Loved this house!! Clean and beach rental property folks great to work with. However, a neighbor phoned the police to complain of too much noise. We had just arrived back out the house by about 10 minutes. The boys were in the pool but not extremely noisy. The boys were already out of the pool and in the house when the officer arrived to advise us of the problem. I find it hard to believe it was our kids, rather other children who we did hear in surrounding areas. I think this neighbor assumed it was us. We truly had not been back long enough from the beach to create a stir. We were also harassed by this same neighbor due to a outside light being on all night. Yelling that "on Sea Pines we have a rule that no flood lights past 10pm". First we were unaware of such rule and second we were didn't know it was on. Third, when would you use and outdoor light unless it was night time? We believe this neighbor did not like renters. Please know we are working professions and would never want to be a bother to anyone so were astounded by this person. Other than that loved everything else about the stay. Good luck with renting this house with a neighbor such as this. I hope these comments are helpful. Jamie Schaub
Thank you for choosing Beach Properties of Hilton Head and taking the time to complete this comment form.
I am sorry to hear about this situation and have informed the owner of this home about his less than friendly neighbor and that he should maybe have a chat about being courteous and a good neighbor!
We hope you will viist us again.

HH is our favorite place to vacation. We love the beach and the family atmosphere. 10 Battery was a great home close to everything. We especially like being in Sea Pines Plantation. The home met all our needs and the setting was great. We like renting through Beach Properties. They have so many homes to choose from and very accomodating. Everyone is very friendly.
