6 Wood Ibis is a spacious, newer 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom Sea Pines home rental on Hilton Head Island. This two-story home has 2 separate living areas, 2 master bedrooms and a path to the beach is located just behind the home.
You enter the home through a walled courtyard with an iron gate. Double glass paned doors open directly into the first living room. This living room has 2 separate conversational seating arrangements with one couch being a sleeper sofa. Upon passing through a doorway on the left, you enter the family room. Here is the open kitchen, comfortable sitting area and a dining table that seats 6. There is also a breakfast bar that seats 5 more people and a separate laundry room.
The fully equipped kitchen has Corian countertops, a flat top stove, stainless steel appliances and a SubZero refrigerator. There is a door out to the swimming pool & deck for sunny, outdoor living. Stepping stones reach the path to the beach which is only a 2 minute walk away.
On the right side of the house, there are 2 bedrooms on the main floor. One is the master bedroom with a king size bed and large walk-in closet. A door leads out to a side deck. The private bathroom has double sinks, a separate shower and a whirlpool tub. The other bedroom on the main level has 2 twin beds. It has a bathroom with a shower/tub combination. This bathroom is shared with a hall, but can be closed off to create a private bathroom.
The third bedroom is also on this side of the house, but it is upstairs. It has a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination. There are no other rooms on this floor in this wing, so it is a somewhat secluded area
The fourth bedroom is also upstairs, but on the left side of the house. It is reached by a staircase located between the living room and the family room. This is the second master bedroom. It has a king bed and a large walk-in closet. The private bathroom has double sinks, a separate shower and a whirlpool tub.
Beautifully landscaped for privacy, this wonderful, large home has everything a family could possibly want for a great Hilton Head Island vacation experience.

Since this is the third time we have stayed here, it shows we love the house and pool area. However, it still has the same woefully inadequate freezer icemaker and user unfriendly water dispenser that I have complained about after each stay. Not only does it make minimal ice but to fill a water glass is tough. I bought 70 pounds of bagged ice for the week for 10 people and dumped part bags at a time into the ice container for dispensing into glasses. I know Viking is top of the line refrigeration but this must certainly be a weak point(albeit a very important point in Hilton Head 90 degree august weather).

The accomodations were terrific. We had trouble with the pool the first two days but you fixed it and no more problem there. We had an ant problem outside and you fixed that too. This house is the perfect fit for us. The only problem not fixed was there was no hot water in the double bed upstairs bathroom. We would for sure return.

The house provides ample space for one or two families, of which there were only six of us. You are located next to the beach path, which is a short walk. The only complaint was that the pool filtration system needs to be looked at. I would recommend this house for anyone to utilize.

The house was large enough for us to have alone time and yet comfortable enough for the family to gather and enjoy time together. We were able to have a few nice family dinners, but also enjoyed restaurants which were convenient due to the location of the house. Really enjoyed the beach and being able to walk either way to beach restaurants/bars and of course enjoyed the Ocean wildlife (dolphins, starfish, sting rays).

We had a wonder time during Spring Break. The house was amazing the kitchen was great. The staff when we called them for something came in a very timely manner. The staff at Beach properties were wonderful and followed up on any questions we had regarding rentals. I would most definitely work with Beach Properties again as well as rent this beautiful home.
"We had a wonderful time with our family in this beautiful home."

The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. we had everything we needed. While the walk to the beach was only a few minutes, with 4 young children it was far to carry things back and forth. I suggest the house providing one of those large rolling bins that I saw many people had on the beach. It was am upright shopping cart with big wheels to easily manuever on the beach. The pool was the perfect size and so private with all the tall trees/bushes. We loved the house and will definately be back.

Stayed here recently with my family with teenage kids and a friend leading up to the 4h of July weekend.
Although I've rented in Sea Pines a dozen times or so, I had never rented from Beach Properties before, and was somewhat hesitant to commit until I saw the reviews on Trip advisor. I've been a fan of Ta for a number of years, and have a lot of faith in their reviews. True to form, this house and Beach Properties lived up to their high ratings.
Renting was easy over the phone with Dana. She knew the properties very well and could advise me whether 6 Wood Ibis would meet my criteria of a four bedroom home along the beach path betweem the Beach Club and the Ocean Gate with upscale furnishings and a private pool. Paperwork was handled professionally by email. Check in was seamless. We received our parking passes and house keys several weeks before our check in date, along with discount coupons for bike rentals, activities and the like. We reserved five bikes for our party, and they were waiting for us when we arrived.
The house itself was relatively new, very clean with upscale furnishings, as promised. The kitchen was top of the line. A newer washer and dryer were present in the house. There were Tv's in every bedroom, and an entertainment system in the living room. There is enough privacy for a few couples or families. The house was very well kept up, and lived up to our expectations.
The pool was maintained twice during the week while we were there, and was in great shape. A property manager dropped off and extra propane tank for the grill while we were there.
The location of the house was perfect. We were far enough away from the Beach Club and Forest Beach so that only the immediate residents were using the beach, and it was sparsely populated. Walking time to the beach was about three minutes.
This is a quality property, maintained by a dependable company. You won't be disappointed if you rent here from Beach Properties.

The house was very clean and perfect for our family with the 4 bedrooms. The walkway from the pool to the beach path could use some work but other than that it was a perfect vacation for us! We will definitely be back to 6 Wood Ibis!

Have always had a great rental experience with Beach Properties of Hilton Head and 6 Wood Ibis in Sea Pines was no exception. We enjoyed being closer to the south gate and the Ocean golf course. House was well suited to our group, well appointed and comfortable. Luckily we had teens along to help learn an overly complicated TV system. Would rent this house again!

Have been going to Hilton Head for over a decade and this was teh first time I rented from Beach Properties. Great experience from the reservation through the entire trip. Wonderful house (best we have stayed at HH)--we had a little trouble with the pool heat and called Beach Properties and they got it fixed right away.
Only issue was the Sub-zero fridge needs to be checked as it wasn't as cold as it should have been (freezer side was fine). Not a major deal, but you should check out.
Will definitely use Beach Properties again--much better service and quality than previous rental company we used. Entire family thought this was the best home we had ever stayed in from all aspects.

Wonderful home with high tech electronics in every room...up-to-date appliances and the best selection of cookware and dinnerware we have seen. A great pool, grill, and very short walk to beach from adjacent beachwalk. The furnishings and interior decorations were first rate as well..
