We stayed in our rental for three nights during the beginning of a vacation which started off with the attendance at a wedding. The location was chosen because it was so centrally located in the Belltown area. It's within walking distance to a plethora of wonderful restaurants and bars. Close to shopping, the Light rail and Pikes Market as well.
We arrived early and contacted the rental company and they kindly met us at the rental and allowed us to store our luggage.
Back when it was ready we found a very clean, well appointed apartment. The bed was comfy, the pillows a little too "big", a great soaking tub and good sized apartment. Very safe with extra security measures to make you feel cared for.
One drawback was the air conditioning system. It was a warm period in Seattle and they had a portable a/c in the bedroom. It was vented out the sliding door but this meant the door could not be closed and they had installed a partition in the open space. First off the a/c was very loud and it did cool off in the evening when sleeping; but opening the slider was out of the question because the apartment is across the street from Buckles Bar and the volume coming from the bar and the street Friday and Saturday made sleeping horrible. The second day we turned the a/c back on only to come back to a hot apartment... it had come untucked from the window and was blowing hot air into the apartment. Again, we didn't sleep well. Sunday though was very quiet.
I would say on days when the bar is not in full form the apartment would be fine. I think a new a/c system that doesn't become so complicated would be of great consideration. The final night we took the fan from the living room and plugged it into the bedroom and the temp was perfect.
Great location, building, and "owners". Perfect for our situation just noisy!
