The way the streets of Bali weave, this is still an island for discoverers - and Villa Madah would really be something to stumble across. Set off in a residential neighbourhood, you'll still find conveniences and shops - the mini market and pet shop - nearby. Something missing? Your place is 15 minutes from the centre of Seminyak, supermarkets, cuisine, parties, and many kitsch little shops – for collectors, artists, fashionistas, yogis, foodies, and designers.
What will you remember about Villa Madah? Antiqued wood, the large hammock, an azure pool – walled in for privacy, with windows but no roof to speak of. Villa Madah comes across as a hip collage of local handicrafts and beach-flavored handiwork. In play with its surroundings, rice fields fill your views from the pool area while past the bathrooms windows flows a river. Drawing from the talented craftspeople in the neighborhood, this cozy villa is thoughtfully furnished. Spaciousness is the underlying feel as the sloshing pool can be seen all the way from the front door.Villa Madah's 1 bedroom is air-conditioned with a double bed and 2 large cupboards. An adjoining door leads you to your solid stone bathroom. An ornate bathtub and shower overlooking the trickling river make the bathroom a great retreat in the hot season. And center of it all there's the living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, another small bathroom, storage space with 3 large ceiling fans in the living and dining rooms – as well as a widescreen TV with a decent cable package.
One look at the map and you'll see why Villa Madah is in a desirable location. Near the end of a 'gang' alleyway, street noise here is muffled and hushed. In the green patches of the map, imagine rice paddies - visible from the pool; the blue line marks the river, visible from your bathroom windows. It's easy to forget that you're staying in the crossroads between bustling Kerobokan, Seminyak, Canggu – the pop art, yoga, health food, friendly locals, handicrafts, beach clubs, and great surf.
Breakfast in bed, perhaps? For just the cost of groceries, daily maid service is available. Mineral water is also available and free-of-charge during your stay, and laundry services are very reasonably priced. What's more, we can easily connect you with reliable rental vehicles, baby sitters, on-call spa treatments, or stock the fridge prior to your arrival. How about transportation to-and-from the airport? A local mobile phone will be provided for your convenience, because you never know: maybe you'd like to order in? The surrounding roads are spotted – quite improbably – with delectable culinary options. They may take a while to reveal themselves, mind you....Read more

We absolutely loved our stay here. The villa has a very rustic feel but has all the mod cons. Very easily self contained. Would be great if you bought your food and just stayed and relaxed the whole time. Loved relaxing in the hammock and on the day bed! Good wifi reception and 2 mini marts very close.
A little bit out of Seminyak but still within walking distance. Just walk down the road 100m and you will find taxis. A little bit hard to fin in the dark and explain to taxi drivers so having the owners mobile number and the map provided were necessary the first few times. I also took pictures of nearby landmarks to remember how to get back.
Definitely would love to return!

Nous avons passés un mois complet, dans cette villa, tout était parfait. Un très grand merci à Benjamin, qui c'est occupé de notre bien être, pendant tout notre séjour.
Je recommande cette villa avec une piscine magnifique et très bien située.

Villa madah is tucked away from the busy streets and is very quiet, relaxing and secluded. Amazing private open villa with a pool. Couldn't believe how inexpensive it was, such great value.
It's not in the main seminyak hub which is what i liked. If you have been to Bali before and just there to relax then this is perfect. Be prepared to take taxis if you want to venture to kuta/seminyak areas.
The house keeper Wayan is lovely and very helpful. Everything was organised and sorted for us from a local phone to grocery shopping, cooked breakfast and massages in the villa.
Would definitely recommend!!
