Your stay in Casa Palacio San José will be an unforgettable experience. This enchanting palace was originally constructed in the 17 th Century and was completely restored in 1993 by Rafael Manzano, the only Spanish architect to have won the prestigious Richard H. Driehaus Classical Architecture Award. Life in this traditional and authentic property revolves around two pretty patios and the magnificent roof terraces. The main patio is surrounded by a gallery made up of impressive roman columns and the centerpiece is a beautiful marble fountain. There is a mechanic awning that moves with the sun, keeping the property cool during the hottest hours of the day. The patios remain at a pleasant temperature and allow a great deal of natural light into all of the rooms. Casa Palacio San José is in a very privileged area, between two of the most popular areas of the city: Santa Cruz and the Jewish Quarter and in front of the Madre de Dios Convent, constructed in the 16 th Century. It is also close to the 18 th Century Synagogue called Santa María La Blanca, which is an Andalusian heritage site. Casa Palacio San José II occupies the left wing of the second floor. The open-plan living and dining area features a sitting room and dining table for six and the kitchen comes fully equipped with everything guests may need during their stay. Each of the three bedrooms reflect the traditional Andalusian feel that is present throughout. Guests also have use of the communal area on the top floor of the house, which includes laundry facilities and a small kitchen. Its excellent location combines the tranquility of a convent together with the hustle and bustle of city life. The property is just a five minute walk from the Giralda, Cathedral, Reales Alcázares, etc. restaurants and tapas bars, supermarkets, markets, flamenco bars, Murillo Gardens and also the Maria Luisa Park. Santa Justa train station is a ten minute drive away, where you can get the high-speed train which leaves you in Madrid in just two and half hours. San José I occupies the entire first floor of the building. For groups or large families, there is the possibility to rent Casa Palacio San José I , Casa Palacio San José III or add one of the comfortable patio apartments.
Surface area:125m2 + 25m2 gallery terrace + 180m2 communal terrace. 2nd floor with lift. The apartment is accessed through a private patio (communal areas) with a lift that leads up to the second floor. Entrance leads to a hall and fully equipped kitchen on the left. Straight ahead you reach the 24m2 living room furnished with a sofa, coffee table and chairs and a dining table to seat 4. There is also a small guest toilet. Bedroom 1 is accessed from the living room and contains one double bed (1.35m x 1.90m). Bedrooms 2 and 3 area accessed from the gallery which you can access from all rooms. Bedroom 2 and 3 have twin beds (0.90m x 1.90m). All bedrooms have built in cupboards and en suite bathrooms with bathtubs. The private terrace is accessed on the third floor. The terrace contains a table and chair to seat 6 people and a sunshade. Washing machine and drier are situated in the communal washroom (shared with 2 other apartments) situated on the loft where there is also access to more than 100m2 of communal terrace which are the photographs shown on our Web site.

Six of us spent 4 days here in June, and we were all impressed with this facility. Everything, from booking through Spain Select, the facility (which we were told was over 200 years old, but was equipped with all the amenities), and the location (20 to 30 minute walk to all major attractions) was ideal. The booking agency, Spain Select, arranged everything including transfers from the train station to the villa where someone was there to meet us within 20 minutes of our arrival. While we waited, the owner, who also lives in the villa made us feel comfortable, offering Sherry and tapas. When we left the villa our transfer to the airport was there exactly on time. We have rented through Vrbo in the past, and were always happy with the results. However this property was the best to date.

This apartment met all our requirements for a one week stay in Seville. It was located in the old part of town, just a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants, bars, and some of the major sites in the city. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed. The amenities were excellent, and the home was beautiful. I visited with my parents and nephew, and everyone loved the apartment. We would definitely stay here again. The management company did a great job, and I recommend using their airport pickup and drop off service as well.

San Jose II is a beautiful house. We stayed in one of the second floor apartments. It was a great experience. The apartment has all the essentials, kitchen, dining room, terrace, even washer and drier. If you feel like cooking, there is a supermarket a few blocks away.
The location of the house is perfect. Right in the center of town. No need for transportation, you can walk everywhere.

Mi familia y yo hemos pasado cuatro días en esta maravillosa casa. Está ubicada en la mejor zona de Sevilla y puedes ir andando a la Giralda o pasear por los jardines de Murillo.
Llama la atención su patio andaluz, de hecho, la gente se para para hacerle fotos. La casa está en perfecto estado y con una decoración exquisita. Tiene varias terrazas en donde te puedes sentar a tomar el sol o leer el periódico. En cuanto podamos, volveremos.

Hemos estado varias veces en la Casa de San José y todo lo que se puede decir es bueno. La ubicación es fantástica, cerca de todo para olvidarte del coche, de los taxis, ... La casa preciosa y en un estado impecable. Alquilamos el apartamento de 3 habitaciones, pero paracía que todo el edificio estuviera a nuestra disposición. Un lujo.

Encantadora estancia de sólo dos días con mi pareja. La ubicación es sencillamente perfecta, en el barrio de Santa Cruz. Cualquier punto turístico de la ciudad está a una distancia razonable para llegar caminando. Nada más entrar desde la calle se puede descubrir el espectacular patio andaluz, del cual se puede hacer uso, y que es perfecto para descansar o leer un ratito y sentirse todo un privilegiado. El apartamento ocupa la segunda planta del edificio y consta de tres dormitorios, aunque nosotros sólo hicimos uso del dormitorio principal. El interior del apartamento es sobrio y está en completa armonía con el edificio. A la cocina parece no faltarle nada, si bien no la utilizamos debido a nuestra corta estancia y a la gran cantidad de bares y restaurantes que hay en la zona. La limpieza es de cinco estrellas. Hay que destacar que durante la estancia se puede hacer uso de las dos espectaculares terrazas que ocupan la azotea del edificio, que son perfectas para organizar una comida o para tomar una copa rodeado de historia y disfrutando del sol de andalucía.

We stayed here this summer. Check in was prompt and professional. Everything was clean, neat and worked great. His recommendations were spot on and we had a wonderful trip. I hope to stay here again on our next trip to Seville.
