“Really recomended - for familly, freinds, couples.” We had a great time in Mick's and Doris's apartment. It was the best accommodation in Mahe! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable apartment with everything what we could possibly think of and great sunsets every day. Location is excellent - very close to the beautiful and peaceful Beau Vallon Beach. It is very great pleca to spend time with friends - there are to separated apartaments.

Victoria villa

“Extremely beautiful place” I can safely say that this is without doubt the most incredible villa my hubby and I have stayed in. The villa is extremely beautiful,The cleanliness and attention to detail would rival hotels which are ten times the price. The villa is very spacious with lush vegetation all around. It's at an ideal location as it's very close to the airport and Victoria city and the famous Eden island which has really nice restaurants and pubs. The owners were excellent host and always willing to help. I have never stayed anywhere which I cannot fault in some way or another and I am not an easy person to please on the whole! Mountain View Palm Villa is paradise and thank you for making our stay such a happy one.

“Definitely a good choice” After 4 other sites visited during our stay in the archipelago, this place was the very most pleasant one. We received a so warm welcome and everything was made by Dorothy for us. Quite convenient place to be in order to discover most of the beaches and to reach the hike tracks starts. Fairly quick to get to Victoria by bus.

“Very enjoyable well equipped vacation villa in good location wit” SunGlow Villa is a very spacious well equipped, traditionally furnished Villa in a lovely landscaped garden. The Villa is family owned and managed by Germain and his delightful wife who are very welcoming and attentive, ensuring that your vacation is enjoyable. The property has views of the ocean from the bedroom balcony and is within a 10 minute walk to Beau Vallon beach. I would not hesitate to recommend this Villa to families looking for a spacious property.

Beachfront 3 bedroom villa - Bel Horizon Seychelles

Glacis house

  • 3 bedrooms
  • 4 bathrooms

“One week in paradise” We had a wonderful 1 week stay in the Bel Horizon appartment in autumn 2012. The layout was perfect for our family of four and the quality and style of the interior showed that someone really cared putting this together. Denise was very helpful in many ways - organizing a hire car for a good price, making reservations at restaurants and even organizing a local craftsmen to build a case to transport some artwork back to Europe. David gave me good advice on what fish to buy at the local fish market and prepared a great barbecue at the apartment. When the tide is right the little private beach is a great entry point for snorkelling on the corall reef - we were out there every day. To get around it is helpful to have a car - but that is a must anyway if you want to discover this beautiful island properly. We felt completely at home and in paradise and will for sure come back.

About Seychelles

The Seychelles are composed of 155 islands that lie in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa. Mahe, probably the most popular of the islands, is the home of the capital city of Victoria. The island of Mahe is bordered by more than 60 picturesque beaches, and Victoria is a bustling lively metropolis of cafes, restaurants, bars, casinos, and shopping districts. While you're in Victoria, enjoy luxurious daytime activities and an energetic nightlife.

Your most unforgettable experiences in Seychelles will happen when you're ready to explore the islands. The coral reefs and preserved forests here have been called the Garden of Eden, and many of them are UNESCO world heritage sites that provide shelter to some of the rarest wildlife and plant species on earth. While on land, walk the trails of the parks and visit the beautiful botanical gardens. Then head for the shore to go scuba diving in protected reef ecosystems and see a dazzling variety of colorful fish and marine life. Explore the coastlines and estuaries in a sea kayak or take a chartered boat trip and go whale watching.

Here are a few additional suggestions as you plan your trip:

  • Mahe Island: Explore the Le Jardin du Roi Spice Gardens, a collection of extraordinary botanical exhibits that showcase the native spices and herbs grown on the island.
  • Praslin Island: Walk the trails of the Vallee de Mai Nature Preserve, a UNESCO world heritage site and excellent place to view rare birds and wildlife like black parrots.
  • Silhouette Island: Take a trip to Silhouette Island to see the Grande Case, an abandoned plantation house believed to be haunted.
  • St. Anne: Explore the Saint Anne Marine National Park, a group of small islands off the coast of Mahe and a world renowned snorkeling and scuba diving destination.
  • La Digue Island: Source D'Argent is considered one of the most strangely beautiful beaches in the world as a result of rare smooth granite rock formations rising up from almost transparent water.
  • Grande Anse: This is possibly the most beloved beach in the Seychelles. Come here to swim, snorkel, explore the tide pools, or just lie in the sand and relax.

No matter when you decide to visit Seychelles, you'll find the weather beautiful and the culture warm and welcoming. You'll also have no trouble finding a perfect vacation rental that meets your needs and lies within reach of your favorite destinations. Choose a luxury condo in the heart of Victoria, or find an elegant villa just a few steps away from the beach.

Casuarina Hill Villa
Large duplex house with beautiful views

We spent four nights at the Casurina Hill Villa. The location is remote and took us a little bit to find. You will need to buy a sim card at the airport or store to call Patrick about directions. Like the other reviews, the road to the villa is a little scary, but after a day driving in the Seychelles you will begin to get used to the driving and roads. I wouldn't let this deter you from booking. The duplex is large and over looks their garden. It is beautiful. The kitchen has all the needed amenities and the bedrooms are comfortable with an attached bathroom. WIFI in the Seychelles is very expensive. Patrick buys each guest 1 GB of data for your stay, so if you need any more, you will have to buy it yourself. We had a little mix-up where another guest used our data, so we ended up using our phones for emails and texts. Overall, we had a wonderful experience in the villa and would recommend it to friends and family.see more

A very unique place...

We stayed in the house in March 2014 for 2nd time in 2 years with our three children (2, 5, 7 years). And it will not be the last time. In our view - & we have researched in great detail in advance - there is no comparable accommodation on the island. There are 3 criteria for the quality of a house: location, location and location. And that is unique. The house is located on one of the most beautiful ( & for swimming & snorkeling at low water suitable ) beaches of Mahé. Only separated by a beautiful, lushly landscaped private garden, the beauty of the beach is superior. The house is far from any hustle and bustle but close enough that you can provide without difficulty everything needed. It is spacious & very well equipped. Incidentally, the house is also able to accommodate 2 friendly parties to use together (two couples with children) because it has 2 bathrooms and spatially separate bedrooms. The owners have lived long even in the house, do it regularly to this day, and it shows. We prefer the house to any 5 star hotel. Although Mahé now is really not a dangerous place, the house has recently been fenced discreetly and also has a number of safety devices ( safe, outdoor lights, sliding gates), which is reassuring. We have not wasted a second thought to the security at any time, and our kids stayed up late playing from early morning evening alone in the yard, on the beach and in the surrounding palm groves - and enjoyed it so much that at parting, there were tears. The house is the perfect place for a holiday with children young and old. Otherwise, the description of the house agree in every detail with reality and there is (unfortunately) well worth every euro rent. Service provided by Julianna is excellent (once working on Sunday by request) & is at your disposal. The same applies to the owner that we were able to learn even know personally. House and garden are maintained in very well in terms of cleanliness and leave nothing to be desired.see more

Just what was needed...

Positive - We really enjoyed our stay here, it was exactly what we'd hoped for. The apartment has all the facilities you could need and we BBQ'ed out on the balcony every day. The island is stunning and ideal for both families and individuals alike. Staying here you will have access to the 4 private beaches (ranging from 5-15 min walk away), club house with pools, gym and other leisure facilities. Another added bonus is there are no cars so the noise is non existent and you really don't have to worry about kids playing. The apartment has its own golf buggy so if you can't be bothered to walk you can nip around on it. The landlord himself is also great to work with, and given this is a self catering apartment couldn't be more accommodating when any requests were made. Negative - I want to stress that these were only very minor things and we would happily stay here again. First the Internet connection is pretty awful (this is a Seychelles issue) and you are essentially limited to things like what's app & messaging. Next to impossible to upload any photos or send an email which is any more than just text...then again do you come to the Seychelles to spend time surfing on the Internet. The second - because this is not a hotel there are a few things which are inevitable when it is not being occupied every day in a hot and sometimes humid climate places like cupboards do get a little bit of what looked like damp marks that if used or cleaned would not be an issue. Third...and this is more general advise...take the mosquito repellent because although it's not as bad as on the mainland it is still a tropical island and you will get bitten at some point if you don't. We made the mistake of not brining any and were scratching from day 4 onwardsee more
